I hope this is not the big addition that was rumored to join...

Not only he has 0 connection to Albania but he seems like a very mediocre player.
Lol, what's the point in this exactly?
I remember this guy from a few years ago and there was interest then. Seems like back then he was a bit better and would have been called up if the player was interested. Now there's really no point because it seems like he's on the decline and would be the third choice at right back.

Albania does need a new right back soon as Hysaj and Balliu are old. We're a year away from a Lorenc Trashi type of player playing at right back.

Gruda would start for Albania, no doubt. Germany will soon lock him up though as they're in dire need of talented forwards.
I don't think Germany is in "dire need" of anything. If they cap him, he will end up like Januzaj with Belgium.
Might end just like Januzaj, but he doesn't seem to mind it. I watched Germany vs Portugal in NL and they seem so far behind the likes of Portugal, Spain, France and England regarding talented forwards.

He would solve a lot of problems for sure... the main problems.

Can't see him not being part of Germany though, even for a few caps. They'll at least try to cap him just to secure him. Especially with someone like Leroy Sane on his way out (he signed in Turkey).

Word.

Albanian players have flopped hard in MLS.

Austin paid €12mil for Uzuni and he lasted just 3 months before getting benched..

New England paid €3.65mil for Vrioni and ended up selling him to Montreal for €50k.. šŸ˜‚

If I was running an MLS team, I’d stick to scouting North/South America.

Remember when Chile full of 35 year olds ran through Albania at its absolute peak under Sylvinho?

Chilean reporters said that even domestic teams could beat us.

Hard to disagree..

Same thing happened to Salihi, Gashi and Vrioni when they went to the MLS. They stopped being the goal machines they were in Switzerland/Austria. Those tap-ins dried up.
