Men’s Superliga (2025–26 Season)
League Status & Structure
The league comprises 6 teams:
Apolonia (Fier)
Besëlidhja (Lezhë)
Kamza (Kamëz)
Teuta (Durrës)
Tirana (Tirana)
Vllaznia (Shkodër)
Playoff & Relegation Format
After the regular season, the top 4 teams enter playoffs:
Semifinals: best-of-three (1st vs 4th, 2nd vs 3rd)
Finals: first team to three wins becomes champion
The bottom two teams face relegation:
6th place relegated directly to Liga e Parë
5th place enters a play-off vs 2nd in Liga e Parë for Superliga spot
Context with Regional Competition
The Liga Unike, a joint Albanian–Kosovo league, continues into 2025–26. It runs alongside national leagues and features top domestic teams.
The Albanian league feeds participants into the Liga Unike.
