Man, look at the way the guy plays. He has awesome first touch/control, can dribble, great vision, is super aware of his surroundings, plays fast, can take free kicks, and can score goals.

His versatility is off the charts. I don't think we've ever had a player that versatile on the ball.

Kallaku’s biggest issue is his physique. Too weak, gets pushed over too easily, passive defensively.

Lokomotiva is playing him as a classic #10 so he's not defending much, but yeah, even Bushi mentioned he's been pretty frail physically in the past.

That'd definitely held him in Albanian league which is full of construction workers.

What's concerning about Kallaku is that he played in the Albanian league for so many years and he didn't exactly light it up. He's 22 and we didn't know he existed till a few months ago. Maybe there is more (negative) to him that we don't know or didn't see in the u21.

No surprise there. Albanian football is often played at snail pace, like U-21. Technical ability is wasted in favour of physicality. I saw him trying to speed the pace of the game in U-21, and people were always a step behind.

We saw the same thing with Muriqi for example (not in physicality, but in terms of wasted talent). Even if he flops at Lazio, scoring 15 goals/season with Fenerbahce, is way beyond the capabilities of an average superliga striker.

^ That's why I don't like when Alb players go to Croatia. It's identical to the Albanian league. Snail pace with players just walking.

Even Turkish 2nd division play at higher tempo.

Croatian league is perfect for Albanian players because how often players get sold in Croatia. Just look at how many players Lokomotiv sold this window (something like 8 players). If Kallaku performs well he will trampoline to a bigger team.

The bottom half of the Croatian league is Superliga quality but so is practically every league outside the top 5-6.

And as for Kallaku take his u21 performances with a grain of salt since he's 22 and has a age advantage over most players.

Yeah, besides Dinamo Zagreb or Hajduk Split, Croatian league is pretty much same as Albanian league. There is a reason why our players always do well there.

Important thing is to use it as a springboard to get into DZ/HS or go to a league like Belgium or Holland.
