Balliu is about as albanian as John cena :zgerdhimje:, real talk at least olayinka spent few years of his youth in albania whereas balliu spent bollocks there..we also went after tomas guidara the argentinian, is he albanian too? The hypocrisy of some fans is crazy, most of us are not living in albania ourselves, who are we to decide who should play and who shouldn’t...
How much time did Freddie Veseli spend in Albania before capping? Or Taulant Xhaka? Or Granit and Xherdan Shaqiri? That is so disrespectful you would rather have a zezak mercenary who isn't even a talent play over a mergimtar who didn't forget atdhe.

Tomas Guidara is just as embarrassing as an example. Calling up Spanjol who never spent a day in Albania is pathetic.

It is degrading for the team to say Argentines and Nigerians are so much better than us we would rather try to call up their mediocre talent than dip into our own talent pool.
A “mergimtar who didn’t forget atdhe” is just another way of saying a player who couldn’t cut it for their diaspora country, just like all examples you mentioned yourself...forget the ”mergimtars” they couldn’t care less about albania, or they wouldn’t have gone sprinting..they are all mercenaries just like olayinka and if they say any different then they are lying to you.. Our talent pool is weak as shit, you are surely overestimating it and underestimating olayinka, he is not mediocre he is on the contrary very promising and I don’t say that about everyone..im with the idea of poaching the best possible talents to improve the nt and win football matches, its that simple

Listen if you watch international football for good football and winning then it’s not for you . We’re never gonna be a powerhouse. So please just shut up about having non Albanians play for us . And yes those players do care , Xhaka , Shaqiri , all of them , just have to see their reactions vs Serbia for that

Calm down guys! Olyainka got capped today. There is no more argument over him don’t waste your thoughts on what could’ve been but on what should the FA do or who could be the next prospects .

Olayinka wouldn't have accepted anyway. He used us to leverage a call up to the Nigerian team.

And if you're saying he should have been capped back in 2015 or 2016, you really think he was good enough to make the Euro squad? We lost many players at that time Rashica, Bernard Berisha, Muriqi, Bardhi, Alioski, etc..

You can't just plug in a guy like Olayinka for Manaj and say he would have executed those shots. It doesn't work that way.

Too many variables in soccer. I'm giving Manaj a free pass because he is young. And what's to say somebody else would have even been in position to fck up in the first place?

Agreed. We forget that Manaj also put himself in the position to have 4 chances to score. IT was a pretty good display by him. He just needs some confidence and I think the games against Moldova and Andorra will help with that.

Like you said, it's always the forwards we don't have or that are on the bench that we think will score goals.... until they actually play

We've been through this so many times lol

Except on rare occasions, the best attacking option according to most of ours fans are the ones who've never stepped on the field to show how much they suck :)

Who cares about the miss lol our campaign was over even if he had converted..I was just saying it would be better for the future if we had a pairing of manaj and olayinka, or olayinka alone up top. There was a point after euros that we called up Edgar cani and azdren llullaku, my point was that we could of used these spots to snatch up olayinka but forget it it’s in the past
