Don't have a problem with Hysaj being a captain(although he clearly doesn't have a captain personality) because at least with him you know that he will be a starter in the NT for more than a decade and right now he's the most established player at club level as well. We don't have any captain material besides Cana anyway.

Berisha(the guy who shits himself in every cross) has said that he hasn't decided if he'll remain with Albania or switch to Kosovo. Xhaka said the same thing so making one of them a captain would leave a horrible taste if they decide to leave a month later. You're just not sure about them.

Mavraj has confirmed that he won't switch to Kosovo but making him captain would be shady as well because of his past and I'm not a fan of some of his recent comments either.

Seems that De Biasi will use Kace, Lila and Memushaj in midfield against France.

Wouldn't be surprising because Romania is our final and DB likely wants to keep Xhaka and Abrashi fresh.

Memushaj-Kace playing together is so unstable though, especially against a very physically strong French team. They should be good enough to pass them ball but can they get it back? Break up play? Lila will help a little but still..

I'm guessing Memushaj will play slightly more up acting as a box-box midfielder with Kace and Lila sitting behind him. I think Memushaj should start this match because he played really well in that 2014 match against France. He's a good counter attacking player and he works his ass off defensively. My only problem is that Xhaka and Abrashi/Lila should be playing behind him. Benching Xhaka(our best player during qualification) for Lila would be a joke unless Xhaka is still injured.

I believe captaincy should be a natural process for him, i don't think he is ready for such a reToday i saw press conference of both Mavraj and Hysaj, Mergim has the calmness that teams needs right now and has more leadership attributes more than anyone else.

I also hope DB isn't stupid enough to start Kukeli as CB vs France.

I don't know about captain material at this moment, but Hysaj is a true talent. He has a lot of learning to do, but with age and with more time at a top club he could be special.

It is a real shame because someone who is sent off after falling over himself and then cries like a little girl isn't demonstrating the qualities of a captain. I think Lorik's reputation still hangs on his early Marseille years and 'hard man' attitude. He still has excellent technique but many of his tackles are delayed reactions. I wonder if he is a pot head.

I would make Berisha as captain as a ploy to give him confidence. And to be fair he deserves it as well.

Përsonalisht Mavrajn ka pak kohë që nuk e konsideroj më të denjë për shiritin e kapitenit. Mavraj eshte i qete dhe ne paqje me zotin nga ana shpirterore si rrjelloje nuk ka aspak brumin e liderit qe duhet te kete nje kapiten. Pervec publicizimit të besimit te vet fetar që ndoshta per disa eshte shkas qe te mos jete kapiten ai mbi te gjitha nuk shifet nga anetaret e tjere te skuadres si qendra apo zemra e ekipit (nga fotot e intervistat kjo pershtypje normalisht ) . Ai nder te tjera tani vone me deklaraten se spo shkonte te Kosova se i detyrohej shume FSHFse dhe se ne te ardhmen brezat e rinj do zgjidhnin Kosoven ia heq automatikisht vleren e bashkimit qe i sjell Cana kombetares. Hysaj me te vertete eshte i ri dhe ka arrite ma shume se mund te arrije Mavraj ne karriere por ama eshte djale shume serioz dhe i urte , ndoshta nuk e ka eksperiencen e duhun per te qene kapiten por ne ate grup lojtaresh eshte i vetmi qe i afrohet me shume perkufizimit te kapitenit perfekt.

I guess that De Biasi wants to keep Cikaleshi, Xhaka and Abrashi against Romania. He also knows that a big lose against France will disqualify us even if we win with Romania. It is possible that Kukeli will start over Ajeti as central defender, Lila is only player who have no clue how to play the ball, Hysaj,Mavraj, Memushaj,Kace and even Kukeli are guys at the back who can play simple passes and are quite comfortable with ball on their feet.
