Serbia is a big and slow team. You’re playing to their strengths and Serbia will bully us. The manager needed to put pace and width in. Under Silvinjo when Albania has played best when they played with pace and had counter attacks. Do they expect Arber Hoxha to be the only counter attacking player?

This lineup gives me Edi Reja vibes. Serbia is going to embarrass us. Silvinho has always been a fraud.
Broja and Hoxha are entirely appropriate. Laci is also a very active and fit player.

Wait for @dallku to tell you why he deserves to start instead of a Serie A player, lol. I first thought, maybe it's a height issue and Sylvinho went for taller midfielder, I just checked it and Shehu is shorter than Ramadani.

Btw Shehu is getting a lot of hate but from his video highlights, skills ect he seems a Kukeli like player, very calm and usually doesn't misspass like Ramadani under pressure.

I mean that's facts. Albania has to be the only Balkan nation that would bench players who go up every week against Real Madrid, Barca, Juventus, Milan, etc in favor of borderline Turkish 2nd division level players. Kind of insane.

Remember he called up and started Seferi for years and now he doesn't call him up at all. Did Seferi regress?? No he's still the same player. It's that Sylvinho realized he's an amateur after 2+ years.

The only real problem I have with the lineup is the inclusion of Ajeti, it simply does not make sense to play him when we have two far more accomplished and high level defenders.

I understand Ajeti has always been a solid performer for us but there is a time when you draw the line between personal favourites/cult legends and the facts on paper.

I understand what you are saying about Daku and the potential to get a red card, this definitely crossed Sylvinho's mind, but I think he was planning to pair Broja and Manaj for this qualifier anyway.
Mos mendo qe Manaj osht risk ma i vogel se Daku per karton te kuq, Laci osht ma kokekrisuri por edhe Manaj luftarak osht edhe nuk shume i zoti me i menaxhu nervat, por Manaj para Dakut nuk munesh me i kerku llogari Sylvinhos por me fillu startues Hoxha kur ka gjithe sezonin ne stol e kur osht ne momentin ma te keq, thjesht osht zgjedhje se osht natyre e qete, nese kish startu Medon Berisha para Ramadanit kish pas logjike po me fillu ndeshjen Shehu e Berisha ne tribune ska asni logjike.

International football is not always that simple, there are tons of players over the years who were nothing at club level and staples at national level, we know that better than anyone, our best attacker for many years was unironically Roshi.

Seferi ended up scoring a brace against Czechia. Say what you want but including him paid off at that time.

I understand the criticism between Ajeti and Ismajli or Kumbulla because those two are much better also for us and at club level.
