Gianni De Biasi just left today. The video conference was pretty emotional. It's good when these things come naturally.

Tramexani trajneri i ri?

“Kurrë mos thuaj kurrë, mund të jetë një alternativë, një person që e njeh kombëtaren shqiptare të futbollit.”

Mundësia për një trajner shqiptar

“Nuk kam menduar asgjë për emra konkretë, por besoj se që nga sot do të filloj të kërkoj. Nuk e kam mbyllur asnjëherë opsionin shqiptar apo të huaj, e rëndësishme është që të jetë i mirë.”

Unsurprisingly he leaves now at spring. As for me, better late than ever.

I'm not convinced about Tramezzani, we don't really know how good he is (or not). Though I wouldn't mind trying him these last 4 matches, we're out already anyway.

Tramezzani just became the coach of Sion.

As for GDB, it's nice to see that he left on a good note(after a big win). It was time he left but we can't deny that he's the best coach Albania has ever had. The team needs a new beginning though.

The only news i found saying Tramezzani is close to sign with Sion is from yesterday. It says that he will valuate their project these days , he had offers from them since last month. Why wait for this week to decide? Something going on or he knew that after these qualifiers there would be some coaches fired. Another experience with a National team would make his CV more interesting while training SION is like staying at Lugano. We are at a point that unlike before now coaches will offer themselves to get the job.

Best time for De Biasi to leave. Going out on a high note. Like Batman said "You either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain"

Tramezzani is another De Biasi mirror. I hope it doesn't happen because that's not something new.

De Biasi is the manager that our NT needed at the time. A vibrant personality who embraced the country and attempted to install discipline and a winning mentality in a mentally weak team. It started in that 2014 WC campaign where we had a glimmer of hope after beating and drawing Norway before we crashed to finish the campaign. Then he led the team that the amazing 9 month stretch from September 2014 to June 2015 which no one expected. I know everyone wants us to play attacking football but it's not the reality for small nations like Albania. If you're a small nation you need to play conservative to be competitive.

Lets hope the next manager builds on what he started and doesn't get away from our teams roots.

The only thing I fear is that we get another one of those coaches who doesn't give a shit and is just here to collect their salary. They rely to much on FSHF and we all know that listening to FSHF will have us playing with 36-year old has beens.

The best thing about De Biasi was scouting and finding all Albanians playing football in all of Europe and approaching them if they were found good enough to be approached. We'll struggle finding someone who'll work as much as De Biasi did in this regard, so maybe a duo of Tramezzani and someone else would be good so we'll have some kind of continuation in that regard.
