Babunski is a backup for Red Star Belgrade and he's 22 years old. This guy will probably end up being a Hyka level player. Ironically, Macedonia's best youth is probably Enis Bardhi.

Talent wise we have much better players in our youth set up. Rey Manaj for example is better than any of Macedonia's U21 players and we all know how talented Manaj is.. What Macedonia's U21 did well is having older players in their team that had alot of continuity playing with each other. Not a talented bunch by any means.

It just pisses me off that someone with clear Albanian heritage would play for Macedonia. You can say he was born technically inside Macedonia borders, but Kosovars were also born technically inside of Serbian borders, you don't see any Albanians playing for Serbia.. We call people tradhetar a lot but to me this is a true tradhetar, not someone who chooses Germany, Switzerland, Italy over Albania..

That makes sense. I figured this would be the case.

I wouldn't mind bad results for the youth teams if we had some decent individuals in there. That's the most important thing if we're honest.

Unfortunately for Albania's case we don't have the results AND the individuals(except very few maybe)

GDB really has trouble putting two good moves together, that is one of his only weakness. He finally calls up Manaj but leaves out Kace. He'll also probably not play Manaj a single second I bet..

Kace's days were numbered since the Spain game. We've lost him at least until GDB leaves. He also called up Grazdani and Cekici so it's not all bad.

Gashi gets called up, scores a screamer for his team and get injured. Unlucky.

What do you mean finally calls up Manaj, hasn't he been in every squad since after the Euros?

Nope first time with the first team. Think he got injured when he was supposed to get called up in September

Edgar Cani e Shehi are out of place. Maybe Hyka aswell.

The list seems to get worse each time. The moment his positive results stop then calls for his head will be enormous.

Why do you need to call up 4 keepers for 1 game. What is gonna happen? 3 are gonna get injured in less than 1 week? That additional place could of been used to call up someone new and see what they offer. A Çekiçi, Ajeti, Avdijaj ect ect.

Basha can't even get a game at his club. Kukeli was shocking vs Lichtenstein.

Man i hope the Roshi and Balaj combo get us 3 points on Saturday and then we have a few months to improve.

Would be very disappointed to go all the way from London to Shkodër to drop points vs israel and end our qualification hopes.
