Now they only need that sand pit and pole vault for Vila to perfect his craft as a track superstar

So, the old Italian project that was thrown around when Elbasan Arena was built, costs about 50 million euros. With concessions, they would ask for 6 million euros every year for 35 years (210 million euros after 35 years).

What they're planning now is to buy the project concept and plan for 5% of the price, and hire Albanian companies to build it (who will most likely steal half the profits as they usually do).

210 million total is way too much for Albania. Total waste of money.

And we should tell these guys to finish loro borici first before they move on to the Kombetar Arena... By next year the stadium in Tirana will halt leaving us with two unconstructed stadiums which explains Albania in a nutshell. Full of half built apartments

210 million over 35 years though. (Money 35 years from now won't be worth what it is now. For example, 1 mill then would be like 200k today) We have an upfront option of 50 million euros. I think buying the plans for 5% (2.5 mills?) and building it with Albanian contractors is the best option.

Selman Stermasi stadium almost ready. It has a capacity of 9600 seats and KF Tirana will be playing there. Might be also an option for Partizani if Qemal Stafa gets demolished to build the new national arena.

Good looking stadium but the national stadium should have a minimum of 30k capacity.

They should make it one of those "modern" stadiums that has a shopping center in it, a business expo, some suites, etc. Should drive down the costs and will give the creative appeal that Rama craves..

I think 22k is ok for now but somewhere in the 27-30k would have been better in the long term. We're building this stadium for the next 30 years. However only the NT will be able to draw crowds over 20k and those for games against the likes of Italy and Spain so maybe it makes sense to keep at a lower capacity.
