^ I agree. I remember for the past 12 years atleast that we are not able to get German diaspora because of dual citizenship but yet we somehow are able to get German Diaspora players. Reality is if the talented ones can always play for Albania/Kosovo if they want so they can wait on their own timeline. I don't think this guy ever had interest in National Team outside Germany and might be doing it now as his career is slowly dwindling.

I just hope Ibrahimovic decides soon on if he wants to play for Kosovo/Albania. No chance Gruda plays for Albania even though he should.

This was never the problem. Athletes were always allowed dual/diplomatic citizenship. That's what Mavraj, Gjasula and many others have. Even the Kosovar NT has plenty of Germany based players too.

It's ok for players to admit that they are coming because the other NT shut the door for them.

Albanian players no longer take a foreigner spot in Italy so they can easily transfer there. It all depends if they are good enough.

Solid keeper for Kategoria Superiore level but nothing special and haven't improved much over years. Cagliari bought him as second choice but you never know. I remember when Elhan Kastrati was loaned from Pescara to Teuta, i can't even remember keeper who had worst season than him, Teuta had decent team that year and almost got relegated.

Manaj doesn't want to go to Saudi Arabia. He chose to stay at Sivasspor.

I think that's the right decision, he found his level and has stability at a club that loves him and he has a guaranteed starting role. If he can have another one of these seasons and prove it's not a fluke then he'll get a better move.

He needs to play more and stop moving around constantly. He spent most of his career years pissing about.

He should take the money and at this point the Saudi League might be an upgrade regardless due to the big names joining. Realistically, he has as good as a chance to play in the Turkish second division next season than he does with some random team in a bigger league (in which he will 100% flop if he somehow lands a deal).

I don't think he'll come close to the goal count he had last year. A player can have so much luck with tap ins and penalties before it catches up to him. He's another Balaj, Cikaleshi, Salihi, Vrioni, etc, a talentless goal poacher.

The funny thing about Manaj and Asani is that they really hyped up themselves leaving. Manaj said bye to Sivasspor after the season ended and Asani created and promoted all kinds of rumors about himself. Talk about out of touch with reality....

If Albanian league teams were semi serious and professional, these are the type of players you sign to make a push for Conference League and Europa. Players like them and also Roshi and others.

Those two are not that bad. I guess you meant if Albanian teams had a reasonable level which then ok.

Manaj hasn't proved enough yet for a good team to spend decent money on him. They might take a chance if he was for free or cheap but he only really has one great season in his career atm and he's 27. He needs at least one more of these before a good team will make investment in him.

For Asani they were just buying him hypothetically off his great qualifiers. I do believe that he could play for a relegation first division team under the right circumstances and if he was in peak physical form. He has upsides and he isn't as bad as you make out. Just a bit one dimensional. The problem is with him he doesn't seem like he'll change much as a player going forward. However, I can see him being bench for some LaLiga team easily.
