It won't be easy but If Mustafi could make it then Gruda can too.

Mustafi was an average defender for Sampdoria when Germany called him up to replace an injured Reus for the 2014 world cup. Because of that WC and his German status he went on to play for Valencia and Arsenal but he was never a great player, just a slightly above average and undersized defender.

Gruda going for 30 million shows that he must have great potential.

The difference is all of Germany's top players are attacking mids and wingers.

And no one's doubting Gruda ever making the German squad but actually starting.

Multiple Turkish journalists : Trabzonspor offered 4 million euros + 2 players for Manaj. Sivasspor rejected it, they want 7 million in cash.

That would be such a good move for Manaj

Brighton paying 30M for Gruda means that he's one good EPL season from going for 100M to Chelsea. Look at Broja who's being shopped around by Chelsea for the same asking price and nobody is touching him.

For sure the prem hype machine is crazy and it's hurting Broja too. Anywhere Broja goes will have to be a loan because teams are scared to touch him for that price. And loans are trash because as Fullham showed last season, they don't feel obligated to play him.

Looks like Ipwich Town is close to get Broja on loan.

Yes, too bad hi didn't pick Albania, but once I saw where his dad is from, I knew he wouldn't. He has massive potential, no question about it!

I don't like that Broja keeps trying to stay in the Prem.

I think he needs to go somewhere else to develop. It could help him in that Ipswich will always be on the back foot and he loves countering and running into space against high lines like with Albania, however.

Brighton doesn't have De Zerbi anymore so we have to see this season how good they really are especially defense. Gruda isn't only investment for them, they bought Minteh for 35 million, Rutter for 40 milion and they already have Mitoma, Adingra definitely won't be simple to get minutes for him. Hurzeler did amazing job with St Pauli to promote them on Bundesliga but Premier League isn't Bundesliga 2. Another thing which isn't mentioned German National team priorities Bundesliga players unless you play for Real or Barca. Gross had to perform for years on very high level to be considered by Die Mannschaft.
