Our young core can't get any playing time. Mitaj, Muci, Broja, Asllani (atleast he's getting some appearances). I was hoping Asllani could take a starting spot for Inter.

Atleast Kumbulla is looking healthy and Medon Berisha might be someone who becomes a regular. Maybe Christian Shpendi plays his way into being a fringe Serie A player eventually.

Medon Berisha had a pretty good game as a starter but apparently he got injured and will miss at least a month... unlucky!

It's a shame about the young players not getting many minutes but it's big club tax. The expectations and standards are just too great for them. If you watch Asllani at Inter he's just scared to make any mistakes so he just makes the safe pass 99% of the time. But that's not enough for a club like that..

Kumbulla is proof that these players can easily start and do well in mid table to bottom league clubs. They are just not world class and that's OK.

They are not top club level but at least they are top league level.

Mitaj put on a show in his debut as a central midfielder(!!) He's a cheat code on the ball.

A Laci-Asllani-Mitaj midfield would be something. Shame Albania doesn't have any other LBs.

That's just a cup game though against a Saudi 2nd league team. Hopefully he can break into the starting lineup.

Looks like Alen Sherri made his debut in a Coppa Italia game and kept a clean sheet.

Most big clubs don't give a shit about player development. It's all about results. Going to a big club prematurely is a career killer.

Asllani doesn't represent Italy otherwise he'd play way more for Inter.

Reminds me of Harry Maguire and thats a good thing. Another CB I guess for the future once Djim retires.
