Ittihad has 7 players in the starting lineup, who played in some of the best clubs of Europe. Moussa Diaby for example is still quite young and has a market value of around 50 million.
The other team also had Ivan Toney as their striker, who is one of England's top attackers alongside Watkins, Solanke and Kane.
How can the level of football there be so bad when so many good players are playing there?
I think Ittihad would give a middle table Serie A team a challenge.

Benzema and Kante are class players but it feel like watching them at a gym rather than a professional game.

All those players are great on paper but they play to avoid injuries and collect pay checks. They treat it like it's a retirement league and don't give anywhere near their best.

Still it must be a great experience for Mitaj to train with all those legends but can he really get better if he's not physically and mentally challenged?? He's chilling in that league.

Mitaj's consistent weekly playing time is crucial, after a period on the bench at Lokomotiv Moscow, he's now securing regular minutes, which is excellent for his development. Asllani should prioritize finding a club, even in Serie B to ensure consistent 90 minutes, regular playing time is essential for his progression.

I wouldn't call what Mitaj is getting now play time. More like a training session, like Manaj got with Messi



I still believe from a mental perspective it's good. If Mitaj goes to a mid-table Serie A team for example, he won't be intimidated at all. He's played with Benzema and Kante. He'll boss there straight away.

But the tempo and discipline of the Saudi League is just awful. It feels like Kukesi or Egnatia bought Benzema.

You are basing your entire argument on a false premise, Mitaj has never played as a center back in the Saudi Pro League. His only appearance as a center back was in the Saudi Cup against Al Jandal a second division team. I watched Al Ittihad vs Al Ahli match, it was not inferior to Feyenoord vs Ajax. There is a massive difference in level between the top four teams and the rest of the league but that is the case in every European league. Mitaj will face top quality attacking players every week, which will undoubtedly help him improve defensively.

Manaj was injured again, it seems for the first time in his career that he is starting to regularly score goals he developed chronic injury issues.

It's laughable to think playing against village teams in Greece is more competitive where he is now. Playing in England, Spain or Germany is another story.
