I could have sworn I read somewhere that Savicevic said the only former Yugoslav country to vote against Kosovo was Serbia. I could be wrong though.

It's gonna be interesting for sure and I think what happens initially will set the tone. If Granit, Januzaj and some other guys make the switch I think we'll be playing second fiddle and may end up losing a few guys immediately. If they don't make the jump I think we'll be fine for the WCQ (as in not losing a mass exodus of players).
What's gonna hurt is not now or the near future but in 5-10 years when Albania loses out on the Kosovar talents. That's why we've been stressing the importance of a strong domestic league that can develop talent. We all knew Kosova was gonna get recognized eventually.
I also think if Di Biasi stays some of his guys like Ajeti, Mavraj, Gashi, Abrashi, etc, will stay. If he's gone maybe they leave? But regardless the third tier talents(Guys that aren't good enough for Switzerland or Kosova) will end up staying like Kukeli and Shala

I think a unified league is possible by UEFA rules(not sure but Duka and Vokrri have said so..) but the logistics of making it realistic are obviously difficult. Albanian clubs don't have the resources to make these kind of trips to villages far away every week. They can barely travel small distances in Albania.
A unified NT is way out of the question. The NTs will never unite unless both states become 1 which is even more impossible. This will definitely push Kosovar players+fans out of the Albanian NT. Brotherhood and freindship will still be shown in certain situations but I think that RIVALRY will be a more prominent factor among both societies. It's a Balkan thing too.
Which place are your origins from, you seem to give no fvks about Shqipetari, will you root for Kosova or follow Kosova's games?
His views seem very anti-Shqiptar or maybe to be more correct i will say negative as i do not mean to offend.
Me personally being from Prishtinë i will not follow or support Kosova. I am Albanian and i will always support my country Albania. If someone tries to make my country weaker, the Kosova nt,
i will be against it. Simple as. I am red and black not blue and yellow.
This is why I feel like people exaggerate Kosova stealing our players. They'll probably sing our anthem and raise the Red and Black flag at games anyway so it doesn't matter as much as people act like it will.
At the end of the day I think Kosova will ultimately become the Albanian B side until we unite. They'll probably have a campaign or two of qualifiers at most before we unite. That's my prediction.
Also the Swiss players won't switch because they're still whores for their Swiss money.

Procedures for FIFA membership haven't been done yet, and may still fail.

Rrahmani and Shala are from Kosova. Gym Gym in CB. He's not a Kosovar but from Presheva. Cana will probably leave NT after Euros.

Even if they don't accepted by FIFA, the still can take part in the next euros I think.
Although I'm happy for Kosova at the same time this is a setback for Albania. Just when we starting to get players from all areas of Albania like Kosova and Macedonia and coming as one, now that's all gone to waste. Albania won't even have a B team more like C team if that's what's it called, might as well call up the starting 11 from Kosova's team now cuz I doubt any of them will make the cut if all the likes shaqiri etc are called up.

Mate calm down. Guys like Hysaj and Kace, aren't exactly fodder, if not the core of this team. The Albos from Italy are coming of age too, and foreign countries are scouting in Albania. Aliji and Gymcity will stay with us too.

I can see this team as being Kosova squads for WC:
Berisha
Hadergjonaj. Ajeti. Djimsiti. Lenjani
G. Xhaka. Behrami
Rashica. Shaqiri. Januzaj.
B. Berisha
Subs: Ujkani. Sadiku. Rrahamani. Uysal. V. Berisha. Hetemaj. Xhaka. Abrashi. Halimi. Avdijaj. Celina. Tarashaj. Azemi.
At least will still have the likes Gashi lol. We might still have chance to keep some descent players but only if they're are patriotic like that Esad Morina player to bad he's shit

Again, Gym gym is not Kosovar. He can't legally switch over like other Kosovars, since he's not from there, and he's already capped.

We are going mental over nothing. The recognition of Kosovar institutions can be everything but bad, even in a "separating scenario".
If after that Albanians won't lobby to unite at least in football (I think we will at least try), then we don't deserve to be a unified Nation but just some few tiny irrelevant pashalluks at the mercy of whatever country wants our lands.
