GymGym is from Padania, northernest highlander to ever play the NT

Aliji is from Fyrom so he wouldn't leave from that perspective. The midfield future seems bright looking our youth talents , Zenuni-Çekici-Bare-Sakaj-Varfaj-Gjuci- Ndoji have potential to become better than Basha-Abrashi and Kukeli. Shaqir Tafa could become the next Mavraj very soon , while we have no strikers from Kosove atm . What would we lack is the left wing aka RolLenjani and missing Cana/Xhaka if all leave.

A bit shocked to read Ledzeps comment on how he PROBABLY would root for Kosova if they played Greece. Are you for real? I root for ANYBODY that plays against greece.
Its great news for Kosova because it goes beyond football. Now, football CAN become a lucrative football and income for people and the country. As far as the NT goes I will never support Kosova in the way I support Albania.
I just hope we become wise in time to create a joint league that consists 7 of the best from Albania and 7 from Kosova or probably lesser...
As for the swiss players, noone will switch except those who have no chance there and maybe Granit. I definetly dont want to see that cunt Behrami, or shaqiri...

If Berat Djimsiti is not Kosovan then why was he called up by Kosovo a few years back?

Even with out Xhaka, Shaqiri and others Kosova could still beat teams like Belarus, Macedonia and Bulgaria with some of the current crop of players they have
What they have now currently
Samir Ujkani (Latina)
Leart Paqarada (SV Sandhausen)--Loret Sadiku (Mersin)--Alban Pnishi (Grasshopper)-- ????
Enis Alushi (St. Pauli)--Mërgim Brahimi (Grasshopper)
Bersant Celina (Manchester City)-- Besar Halimi (Frankfurt)--Bernard Berisha (Anzi)
Elbasan Rashani (Rosenborg)

?????= one of Bunjaki's cousins? Well the group with Croatia is quite hard, the FA lacks organization and the coach doesn't have the experience even to coach San Marino. You'll soon watch nepotism become part of the selection conditions unfortunately. If they end up above 1 team in their qualifiers group should be considered a victory for the football. This is a great event for the albanian football in general. Will certainly be rooting for them even if every single albanian from Kosove leaves our national team but for sure that won't be anything like following my national team emotionally speaking even if we'll end up playing the likes of Lilaj-Vila.

I can see Ledzep root for Greece in that scenario and I can understand it even though I don't like it. I also appreciate his honesty. He strikes me as someone madly interested in Albanian football but not in the patriotic/nationalist sense. He also spent time of his youth in Greece so he naturally has some affinity for the country. I think many Albanians from former Yugoslavia struggle with the lack of patriotism/nationalism of Albanians from Albania but it is something good that is real unfortunately.

For me it depends how their following will shape up. If the fans are fully decked in red and black and not blue and yellow and if KNT doesn't become a vehicle for the creation of a separate national identity the I can see myself root just as hard for Kosova tbh.

So will Kosova join Croatia in Group H if they were to participate in the WC qualifiers?

It's quite complicated .

Congrats to Kosova. Mixed feelings but I've made my peace long ago with this. Any recognition of any Albanian parts is fine by me as it will help those parts. Much better a Kosova NT than asking Serbia permission for everything. It will hopefully develop the clubs and youth facilities. I don't really care about the plans as I didn't expect anything to begin with. After all we all know our politicians.
I'm not gonna comment on the RA "lack of patriotism" as its a pathetic argument as always.
What I see here is the optimists among us predict a step on unification of our football. I'm somewhat sceptical if not convinced of the opposite. I wouldn't wanna be in the shoes of that player from Kosova who will have to make a choice between Albania and Kosova. Internet style folklore patriotism will do its thing. Can't see any present ones switch and that's for sure as their argument is made and it's easy for them and if anyone dared to swich would be more immoral than incest as it just doesn't make sense. As for the future we will do what we do best on both NT. Fvck it all up and blame someone
