One thing guaranteed about Hungary is that they will be competitive against top teams. They have a great mentality when it comes to that.
They are not like Dermaku who bends over at the sight of Harry Kane.

They had a French guy representing them. Think fifa need to rethink the rules because that guy is not Hungarian. Just gave him a citizenship to play football.
Meanwhile they drove us to court over an ethnic Albanian

A lot of negativity towards Sulejmanov starting in place of Uzuni..
Taulant is in the form of his career, after tearing up the Superliga like nobody else. No guarantee that it will be a successful night in Rejkjavik, but he surely deserves a chance.
At the moment, his confidence is through the roof and I am very excited to see what he can do. Always been a player with a lot of heart and desire, similar to the one he will be replacing.

He’s absolutely crap. Like Uzuni but doesn’t work as hard so doesn’t have any redeeming qualitiesPrinc wrote: Sat Jun 04, 2022 11:02 pm A lot of negativity towards Sulejmanov starting in place of Uzuni..

Sulejmanov is used to playing teams with a transfer value of 5 million and below. To him even Iceland(22 million value) is like Guardiola's prime Barcelona. His legs will be shaking.

I don’t think Seferi will do any worst than Manaj and you can make the argument that Seferi knows his role and which spaces to occupy as opposed to Manaj who thinks he’s Leo Messi.
The problem will be that both Seferi and Cikaleshi play similar games and will occupy the same roles. Will we get enough service to give these below average poachers the chances they need? Probably not. Will they be able to create on their own and help with build up? Probably not.
This is pretty much another version of the Cika and Balaj pairing. Expect the same kind of rugby play that we’ve been seeing the past 3 years. Iceland will be prepared for this and will be able to hold them off with their superb bunkering.
The only exception is that Balliu is a big upgrade over Trashi and can actually provide something from the flanks.

Also since Hoxhallari is now not at Tirana , can we stop pretending he’s decent and stop calling him up too ?

Doesn’t matter who’s upfront for us right now they’ll all perform crap. Some because they are bad anyway but mostly because this system just makes them do the bleep test up front.
