You keep hyping these guys as if these are the saviors of Albanians soccer. Yeah true that in the last few years we have not had many skillful players but off the top of my head I can think of Rama, Skela, Fatmir Vata and Bledar Kola that were better than these guys. What this team currently lacks is a playmaker of Skela's caliber who's comfortable on the ball. Memushaj is the closest player we have but he is no Skela imo. I think Valdet Rama was that player but somehow his form dipped and he fell out of favor.
I remember us playing Germany away in 2001 and the midfield of Skela-Vata-Kola went toe to toe with the Germans as equals.

Rama was not even playing for Vallladolid when we got him, amd Avdijaj is at Shalke while Rashica is at Vitesse. Rama was huge for us when we got him and offered us so much but he is not on these guys level. I mean Rashica with on season at Vitesse has done more than Rama did his whole career.
As for playmakers, yes we do miss one but this team uses a formation where the playmakers have to be deep lying mids like Kaçe as we cannot use a number 10. Eveeytime i watched the U21's to look at Rashica, Manaj or even Latifi they were outshone by someone else, Cekiçi.

This should be used against the weaker teams:
Berisha
Hysaj. Mavraj. Ajeti. Aliji
Xhaka. Kace
Rashica. Avdijaj. Lenjani
Sadiku
This should be used against Spain and Italy:
Berisha
Hysaj. Mavraj. Ajeti. Aliji
Kace. Abrashi. Xhaka
Rashica. Sadiku. Lenjani
Subs. Hoxha. Shehi. Djimsiti. Veseli. Agolli. Rrahamani. Memushaj. Roshi. Cikalleshi. Manaj.

I agree that Rashica and Avdijaj, who by the way has yet to commit to us, are the brightest upcoming talents but they're still young and we shouldn't anoint them as our saviors before they've even taken the field for an official match with the senior team.

If Albo-eagle was following the NT when Hyka was coming through imagine how much he would hype him up lol. Hyka looked amazing at early age and was literally toying with the Italian u-21 at some point. Avdijaj is a good talent and Rashica is an ok talent but great talents and "super" talents? Hell fvcking no. I've seen too many of these type of players over the years to know better.
We don't even know if they'll play for Albania which make these discussions even more lame.

Spot on, Hyka would have been anointed the Albanian Messi
I think Rashica and Avdijaj will turn out better than Hyka tbh but the real gem I think is Manaj.

You only remember him when he was in his mid-30s and could barely walk.

Nah man Skela of early 2000 was the shit. He was a starter in Bundesliga for 4-5 years. Now we're jizzing over starters in the Dutch and Austrian leagues. I personally preferred Fatmir Vata but he had a massive fallout with the FA and cut his NT career short.
