The Albanian media has been extremely vocal about the corruption of oil production by foreign companies in Patos-Marinza field. (This is the largest oil field in Europe) I looked at the board of directors, guess who I found there.... General Wesley Clarcke. Yes, the US Army General that oversaw NATO's bombing of Serbia. If you guys think only Kosova is paying for that war, you're wrong. You can love Uncle Sam, but Uncle Sam's rich friends are the problem.

I remember an old man roaming the streets of Tirana back in the early 90's. Same exact situation. Unfortunately this is what happens in a "free" society. The government is not there to take care of the people anymore. The communists, despite all their faults, at least pretended to give a shit about people. This would have been unacceptable back in the day.
