More importantly , we are very different as wellAurora Bulkualis wrote: Tue Jun 07, 2022 5:38 amIceland then and now are very different teams.Princ wrote: Tue Jun 07, 2022 5:21 amYou are too ambitious..Simboli i Diellit wrote: Tue Jun 07, 2022 12:07 am You have such a looser mentality. We’re clearly the better team on paper and if we didn’t have that senile handicapped coach this game could be won easily.
It was first time in history that Albania has left Rejkjavik with a point, yet you claim that we have not improved and are demanding Reja be sacked.
Matches are not won on paper. Be happy that the home team did not take 3 points tonight, as they dictated the tempo in the second half and created dangerous chances. Do not forget that the visitors deserved a red card after the fullback interrupted counterattack with a foul from behind.
Albania will be favoured to win in Tirana. We will come out strong in front of the fans and have put ourselves in line to take 4 points from Vikings. It seems like not enough though, as the experts here expect us to run over higher ranked teams in their own backyard!

Princ is a troll because there is no way you can rationalise this draw as a positive. Iceland in the last year have only beaten Lichtenstein, they are rebuilding and had young players everywhere.
That game showcased Reja's Albania, a dull team that creates no chances and isn't even solid defensively despite the talent levels in that position.
The bizarre team selections, playing less talented guys like Trashi over Balliu for a long period when everyone else can see these amateurs he keeps calling up are not it.
We should be building for Euro 2024 , not calling up Balaj in this god forsaken year 2022.
3 1/2 years he has held us back, the longer he stays, the less our chance of ever qualifying increase. Golden generation, don't let him ruin it.

Reja is allergic to talent and professional players. His selections always blow your mind and worst part, he NEVER gets proven right. People have always been proven right when they criticized his selections.
I'm hearing now that Bajrami is the latest to have a clash with Reja. He's not training hard apparently and as a punishment Reja didn't put him in.

Someone tell Reja to watch all the other nations league games, these guys just wanna go on holiday and rest after a long hard year. They're not gonna kill themselves especially for a guy like him who'll play amateurs.

Most importantly we are not asking to beat France or Germany.
But that performance against Iceland is not acceptable. Did you see which teams Iceland players play for?
We don't have a style of play, can't make combinations, no attacking flow, make defensive blunders. This should not happen with the kind of roster we have. Reja has no football philosophy.
When was the last goal that we scored against a decent team, which did not come accidentally or because of Broja?
All in all I don't care about results as long as I see a team in the field which has an idea of what it is doing. The results will come if that happens.

With these players I'm expecting in the next decade to reach every Euros and make it out the group (depending on the draw) and maybe even cause an upset and to qualify for the 2028 World Cup. I'm not longer happy with coming 3rd/4th in groups and not even trying to win vs the big boys, we are starting to have the quality to compete.

How is it not acceptable to take our first point ever in Rejkjavik?
