Zhegrova finally delivers for the NT, scored the first and created the 2nd.

Zhegrova is brilliant player, anyone who says otherwise has no fucking clue about football. Still can do more but i can't blame him, it's difficult to play when you have such dysfunctional midfield. Nobody understands why Valon Berisha always starts, even Rexhbecaj was poor today. Rrudhani was inept offensively and defensively was absolutely horrendous, it's obvious that is playing out of position. Saipi started well confident with foot and it ended worst way possible for him, gave a cheap goal to Lithuania and everytime had to deal with crosses was in full panic mode reminded me Ujkani. Dellova was good, big upgrade compared to Aliti who was always shit.

It's clear that Kosovo will lose the game 3-0. Playing in a hostile environment constantly facing 'Kosovo je Srbija' chants and provocative flags is undeniably frustrating, however the timing of leaving the field was so bad. It appeared pre planned desperate attempt to achieve a result on table that you couldn't achieve on the pitch. Strategy backfired creating poor optics and ultimately doing more harm than good.

All Kosovo had to do is interrupt the game twice. You know the fans would continue to chant. It would give the ref no option but to agree on abandoning the match.

But leaving on the first attempt without the fans even getting a warning first is not the wisest move.

As Zen says leaving in extra time spontaneously was not the right move. Just looks like they are trying to get a win that they couldn't get during the game.

It looks really bad if they leave right before the game ends and ask for a win, when they made no attempt to ask the ref to warn the fans. As Dallku said, we know they would continue chanting anyway, and then Kosovo would have grounds to leave the game as the team gave a fair warning and would be left with no choice.

The best decision would be to do this far earlier in the game, then you would have a much higher probability of UEFA/CAS ruling in your favour.

Their appeal for a win will be undoubtedly rejected on the grounds they did not interrupt the game earlier and give the referee a chance to sort out the fans (which would not happen anyway, they'll keep chanting), then you can leave. The first course of action in this situation is to report the complaint to the referee. Given the clear ethnic hatred in the chants questions will clearly be asked on why they didn't complain to the referee earlier in the game.
