meh I think a database is kinda useless. we have transfermarkt which is really good at documenting.

A database for YOUTH players wouldn't be bad. A page for each would be a bit overkill, but showing their play time, club, position, etc... seems like a decent idea.

I don’t think it would be too messy as long as it’s kept simple. I’ve set up an RSS feed before for a couple of sports sites I follow, and it worked great for pulling in headlines without having to click around everywhere. The key is not to overload the page, just show the title, maybe a short snippet, and the time it was published, with a link to the original site if people want the full article. Having categories by team or sport would make it a lot easier to navigate, and if you can filter out duplicates it’ll feel more like a clean news hub than a cluttered feed.
