Who cares really?? They are a club that trains in Tirana, plays in Kukes and has only foreign players. They made a great run in Europe a few seasons ago but I'm pretty sure no one will miss them if they were to fall.

I think this whole Kukesi-Legia fiasco, while it sucks for Kukesi. might be a blessing in disguise for the Serbia game in October. The police will now make sure nothing happens during that match and I am sure Rama will personally get involved to ensure the game is run smoothly.

The other positive takeaway is that Kukesi's president, Gjici, will most likely sell the club and Kukesi's players will all leave the club, which means one less team for Partizani to worry about.

Come to think of it this is the best thing to happen to Albanian club and national team football. Thanks Kukesi :)

Kukesi have been one of Albania's strongest team in recent years. If they are gone then you figure the league is going to be less competitive which is bad for the league overall. But I guess it may be good because they may be relegated which will draw new/fresh teams in the league which can make things interesting.

Well their players will most likely go to Tirana, Partizani, Vllaznia and Flamurtari so those team will be strengthened. Regardless of what happens though to the other teams Skenderbeu, barring any major injuries, has the title in the bag with the CL money they will be getting.

Yeah these fans obsession with anti-slavdom is starting to get embarassing.
Not as embarrassing as those Eastern European ultras with their slavic/neo-nazi brotherhood obsession. The legia ultras(like many other eastern european ultras) constantly have banners that say kosovo je srbija, f*** albania, etc, in their league matches. These guys like to incite violence but now they are playing the victim card in all of this because some of their ultras got their asses kicked for once in Albania then they go say Albanians are animals and what not. I think violence and ultras don't have a place in sport but they had it coming to them.

And honestly this is the first time I've seen some Anti-Slav banners. There were some anti-serb/uefa banners in league matches after the Serbia match but that was reasonable. There was that random villager running on the pitch with the albanian flag in Fier and got the Serbian GK ejected and that's about it.

Normally the Albanian supporters/ultras just chant about Shqiperia Etnike and other patriotic banners. No hate/discrimination towards other groups

Some people here are so oblivious....Poor Albanians are almost never wrong, it's always everyone else's fault. Get fucking real man. I don't give a shit if the fault is 60/40, 70/30, or whatever. There is no reason for Kosovar fans to come all the way down from Prishtina to fight Polish fans in Tirana, and don't even buy tickets for the game, and don't go in the stadium. Some fans bring banners threatening their lives, and then say they were provoked.

No one is saying other parties are innocent, but open your eyes and see the growing bigotry and hatred amongst Albanian fans every since Kosova and Albania are sharing a team. This should be a time to rejoice, and not a time to act like disgusting animals. These fans hate the Serb lunatics and are slowly turning into them day by day.

Plisat are known to not hold back whenever they're up against trouble makers, but I believe them not to be behind the rock that hit the Warsaw player. I can't recall them ever attacking opposition team players, not even after Prishtina's basketball team was vandalized in Cetinje and the Cetinje team had to come and play in Prishtina.
