There's always the 2nd half to fix things , Gdb has shown that he's flexible in changing things during a game, when the gameplan doesn't work. That lineup if accurate is quite attacking as it is with Lullaku, Hyka, Roshi and Balaj.

Dude he was playing out of position and performed very well. Yeah it's easy to discount his 45 minute performance but that one of the most important halves we've played in our footballing history. Maintaining calmness under pressure is a crucial skill and GDB values that highly.

Not overrating just saying it's a good trait to have as a dm and don't understand the overhate on kukeli

Protects the cbs, breaks opponents attacks and is calm & smart when in possession. Kace is not suited for this role. Basha could work, but he is way to soft .
you just gave the role description of a DM, not what Kukeli does. what he DOES do is 100% pass sideways and back. he is also 33 and slow as f***. im sorry but we have much better players atm in the midfield. we have in midfield: abrashi, xhaka, kaçe, basha - all of them superior to kukeli - fighting for 2 spots. that's bullshit

plus he does this attacker pass brainfart too often. it was not the first time
You should go and rewatch the friendlies we played vs Austria & Ukraine this year, to see how essential Kukeli has been to this team's success.

Coz we had a early red and kukeli was One of our best that day and wo him fillin in as a cb/dm there is no doubt In probably anyone here's mind it woulda been 5-0 w kace xhaka abrashi as our midget midfield . U forget kukeli is tall as well and u need a tall player there .
it is true he played well there, that is basically the only game i remember of him throughout his entire time with us, thats how invisible he is

but furthermore, in economics there is a concept called "opportunity cost". it basically means the difference between doing one thing or another. who is to say that had we brought in ajeti he wouldnt have defended equally or even better? you make it sound as if if kukeli wasnt there then we'd be another man down. when in reality the spot would be covered by someone else, who might i remind you proved to be one of our best players in the other 2 games

and no we dont need a tall player. i mean, sure it helps, but DM is possibly the one single position which heads the ball the least in open play. btw height is also overrated in heading. what you need more than height to defend is strength to take/hold the position and good timing for the header. some of the best defenders we've seen have not been very tall

and quite honestly, just the fact that he has no chance of ever playing in the world cup even if we make it is enough reason to drop him. if cana could retire then so can this fucker. what is he hoping to achieve by continuing? it's not his fault for being picked ofc but he really should have some spine and say goodbye on a high
