It's really sad especially when you see the stadia that Macedonia and Montenegro play in.

Yeah, let's build a stadium with 35,000 spots like Macedonia that'll be empty 99% of the time with money that's not ours, and end up in debt like Greece. My problem is not that they're not building Loro Borici (because it'll be finished this year), but it's Rama's typical "fluturim me preshe ne bythe" that it will be finished in time for Serbia, just for political points.

This is why I hate populist politicians. They are always full of shit.

Nah I don't think we need a 35k stadium, I was just saying how much better the stadia in the neighboring counties are and they are not that much better economically.

I think a stadium in the 20-22k range is more suitable for our needs. And no running track for ffs.

Macedonia spent 60 million just renovating that stadium. It was already built. No one is going to spend that in Albania. Once your debt hits 70% of GDP you can't use IMF's money to build random shit like stadiums. We already wasted our chance when Sala's men money laundered 2/3rds of the infrastructure development budget to buy houses in Ibiza and BMWs.

Stadium is actually making good progress. Problem is that the reconstructions started in early June/Late May(they had 2 week delay in May) and asking the stadium to be complete in 4 months is very ambitious. The idea of the renovations came up after the original Serbia match and then the plan didn't finalize until we beat Armenia. Then they ran into the whole bureaucratic process of getting documents, licenses and what not.. It seemed like it was a last minute thing and they didn't plan it well.

They should have start the process after the Serbia match and the project could have started a few months later(Like in Dec/Jan). If they went at this pace the project would be ready in time for Serbia.

However, at this point FSHF should reconsider the design and go with the full oval stadium(Plan B) instead of that hipster section near the goal. Ticket demand will be at a high after the Euros and with us hosting Spain, Italy and Macedonia there's going to be alot of demand. Maybe we host a friendly with a team like Turkey which will drive some demand too?
