If there was a tournament for moral victories Albania would win the cup. We have mastered the "moral victory" art for a long time. Difference right now is that now we can show it on a more global scale.
I'm still amazed at how we beat Portugal 0-1 and didn't lose in Denmark.

We are in a football forum, I should think that I'm allowed to criticise our performance without overshadowing this historical moment. However, this historical moment could have easily continued if it wasn't for the performance of these players on the pitch. Yes, they played with heart, pride, bla bla...But a the end of the day they walked away with 0 points and 0 goals because of stupid mistakes of their own, not due to the ability of the opposition.
Albania isn't going to get this chance again, as much as you like to play with your fantasy line-ups with likes of rashica, avdijaj, cekici etc. The TRUTH is none of these players are even good enough to achieve what this current squad has achieved, let alone aim for more. However, we can always dream of what could/will be, rather then what it is.
Not denying this has been a unique experience for everyone involved and we should still party. I hope you have a good time on Sunday, who knows, we might even meet.

Nope, that's what someone who's realistic would say. I'm amazed that we've done as good as we have. I had no expectations and everything the players have shown has been better than ever before. A failure would have been if we expected anything else; I at least didn't.Aurora Bulkualis wrote:That's what losers say. I'd be happy even if we lost 6-0 every game, since they popped major tourney cherry, but so far at least you can't deny EUROs have been a failure.Migjeni wrote:We've been 'kundershtare te denje'

Hysaj----Cana----Mavraj----Lenjani
Memushaj------Kace---------Abrashi
Xhaka----------Sadiku-----------Gashi
Kace and Memushaj are our best midfielders in possession and are going to be needed if actually want to score. I think Gashi and Sadiku can work as they can create space for each other and both make smart runs. Xhaka has experience playing RM, can't possibly be worse than Roshi/Lila.

My prediction 2:1 for Romania. They will score two fast goals in the first half and then Agolli scores the last and only goal .

That lineup seems unbalanced , Xhaka is out of form and i would even test Orges Shehi there aswell as he can't do worse than Roshi/Lila too. Those players can play only in the 4:4:2 and the Lenjani flank would get raped . I would like to see this:KelmendVllazni wrote:--------------Berisha-------------

Basha and Memushaj looked terrible together in the 2nd half against Ukraine.

Ukraine is another type of team , different midfield with taller players. Memushaj-Basha-Kace is the most attacking trio midfielders we have on the rooster but Abrashi has to play with two of them so i'd prefer having Abrashi- Memushaj-Basha and then sub in Kace in the second half to give fresh legs . We haven't won a game against Romania in like 60 years and this is the worst players pool they have ever had but are quite solid defending. I would give anything to watch a Albania-Germany match at 1/8s but i'm not expecting anything .KelmendVllazni wrote:Basha and Memushaj looked terrible together in the 2nd half against Ukraine.

I just want to see if this team is capable of scoring a goal. No more bullshit bunker tactics, no more Lila, no more stupid mistakes in the final minute please.

What about Cana in midfield if Ajeti returns? He can be reckless without putting the team in jeopardy, and he's good in the air. Of course I mean as DM to cover back four not as a CM, before the Cana is shit at passing comments come through.
Not like the other DMs are any better than Cana at DM...That's where he was at his best. He's too crazy to be a CB.
