Kosova National Team [General topic]

With memories of the golden years (80's) of the albanian football still fresh on her mind, Albania is now attempting to recreate its strong football legacy. As young players start making their names abroad, the future is looking bright for Albanian football!

He's just doing his job. His job is to put the best product on the field. He may be a piece of s*it but can't fault him for wanting to succeed. That being said, it's up to the individual player to make that decision. If we are as patriotic as we say we are, then the players will only choose to represent Albania, with the Kosova team collecting all of those who can't make it the Alb team. So Bunjaku's efforts ultimately mean nothing. However, I do expect a lot of players to leave, and join the Kosova team. It's only natural.

The FIFA congress is taking place right now and in a few hours we'll know Kosovo's fate.... and ALbania's too ;)

If they do get accepted, does this actually mean that Kosova will be included in the 2018 qualifiers?

Yes both Gibraltar and Kosova will participate in the WC qualifiers in groups H and I, since they're the only groups with 5 teams. The rest of the groups have all 6 teams.

Group H would be epic. Face the Greeks, and Bosnians. Also have Januzaj score the winning goal vs. Belgium. Kosova could do well in that group actually (depending on who they manage to snatch up).
