Oh yeah. In modern times this was up there with Albania 2-4 Belarus, Romania 6-1 Albania, Luxembourg 2-1 Albania and so on.

A result like this was COMING whether we like to admit it or not. The team has looked bad even when it was winning. This was a continuation of a series of bad performances but this time it reflected on the result.

I think it's time we make Mergim Mavraj captain. Agolli just does not look fit, and Mergim seems so poignant, calm and collected at all times. Plus read what he had to say about the Israel game:

Futbolli duhet të japë mesazh paqeje, e jo të krijojë panik, stres e përçarje. Unë nuk e ndjej veten aspak mirë kur krijohen situata të tilla! Tifozët tanë e duan këtë vend, e duan këtë kombëtare e ndaj duhet ta shijojnë siç duhet, të paktën në shtëpinë e tyre! Tjerët, le ta “gjejnë” të keqen diku tjetër, jo tek Shqiptarët!

What makes this the worst is the off the field shenanigans too. The imam and two priests serving as Rama's props to display our religious tolerance made me vomit too.

Yeah man it was awsome. I honestly feel nothing about the loss. Sire i would of liked the win but i dunno very wierd why i feel nothing. I think i just enjoy supporting the team. Most pissed i was when we lost vs Icleand and Slovenia to end our hope of 2014 WC. I was so mad then. I was pissed with the Portugal loss aswell.

One thing which makes me laugh and is a really interesting thing is that everytime i watch Albania this happens. Whenever Roshi gets the ball the people near me start saying 'hajde Roshi' and everyone sort of stands forward in anticipation and it is all silence then 5 seconds later you hear groans and a few people shout ooo more Roshi. Samething happened at Euros vs Swiss. When Roshi got subbed off it was the biggest applause of the game. To be honest though i liked him yesterday, did well.

I like our team. Even with 9 players we dominated. Roshi, Llullaku, Balaj, Hysaj all did very well. I think De Biasi is too scared and it is costing us. If we get a new coach with this quality i think we can achieve more.

Well, ppl were arrested for planning something in Shkoder. Scary stuff, tbh.

Let's hope the stadium in Tirane gets build and then we won't have these kind of problems anymore. Spain complained about the length of the bus trip from the airport to Shkoder too.

Mikpritja eshte virtyt Shqiptar, but we have morons too. And it's easier to cause damage nowdays, if the intetions do exist. So you can't blame the police taking all the measures needed to eliminate any possible threat.

Israel is not an attractive opponent by any means and picking Shkoder for this fixture was a bad choice in the first place.

Nevertheless it was sad to see empty seats in the stands.

P.S. Mavraj should be more concerned on his misscommunication with Gjim on the chance that let to the red card & penalty.

Two of the people arrested in Kosove confessed the plan to attack the stadium in Shkoder. Do you guys really think that all this was a made up story? Anyone can find a gun with TNT in Albania or Kosove with few bucks .

The goal was actually Mavraj's fault because he was out of position. Agolli was also too wide. Gjim-shit-i's lack of pace was exposed there but he was in an awkward position. Israel played with 1 very fast striker and that's what speed does, it kills. Unfortunately DB doesn't value speed and technique at all. Roshi is the only semi-fast player we have but that's only in acceleration because overall he's not quick at all.

Also our players have become very arrogant btw. They think they are too cool now that they qualified for a Euro. You think Berisha would react that way at Atalanta or Lazio?? Hell no he wouldn't have the balls to do so. They are over their heads now.

Btw you guys love to shit on Kukeli but Kukeli was fvcking amazing in this game, especially when he played as a CB.

Llullaku seems decent, created a good chance for Memushaj who fucking panicked. Balaj is doing amazing in the Russian league. 9 in 12 fucking appearances. 2 in 3 starts for Albania. Thats good. Hysaj is Hysaj. Hes a no bullshit rb whos really solid. Our problem is LB but we can definitely play Aliji there. Abrashi and Kace should be playing alongside. Memushaj at cam maybe. Gashi needs to be back. The referee fucked the game. Watched the highlights. How was Gjimsitis a red card AND penalty?!?! How was Berishas a red card?!?!?! Did he ruin thag little bitches makeup??? And how THE f*** was that a penalty?!?! Their 3rd goal was offside too btw. We dominated them till they hd that lucky pen. Once we get Ajeti back, we will be fine. Not too fond on gjimsiti. We need Kace playing. So angry we lost Avdijaj to a shit football country. f*** sake why pick Kosovo when you could play for a way better team.
