Yeah someone called out Kukeli earlier and I though he did an excellent job. Kukeli will get flak for the Macedonia game now but he was our most calm and effective player.

The goal was actually Mavraj's fault because he was out of position. Agolli was also too wide. Gjim-shit-i's lack of pace was exposed there but he was in an awkward position. Israel played with 1 very fast striker and that's what speed does, it kills. Unfortunately DB doesn't value speed and technique at all. Roshi is the only semi-fast player we have but that's only in acceleration because overall he's not quick at all.

Also our players have become very arrogant btw. They think they are too cool now that they qualified for a Euro. You think Berisha would react that way at Atalanta or Lazio?? Hell no he wouldn't have the balls to do so. They are over their heads now.

Yeah, but Gjim dealt in the worst way possible with the situation created by Mavraj's fuckup by causing the penalty and getting redcarded.

And what's worse, that's not the first time Mavraj missreads a long ball when the NT tries to play a high defensive line. He clearly needs a fast player next to him.

Imo, Berisha went full retard on that one, but I wouldn't call it arrogance. You have to put that one on the refereeing, which was at shocking level overall.
