Kosova National Team [General topic]

With memories of the golden years (80's) of the albanian football still fresh on her mind, Albania is now attempting to recreate its strong football legacy. As young players start making their names abroad, the future is looking bright for Albanian football!

Well Bunjaki(the Kosovo coach) has said that players can and will switch after the Euros. They can switch right now but the Kosovar FA doesn't want to "hurt teams for the Euros" apparently.

After the Euros every player of Kosovar ancestry will get an invitation from Kosovo and it's up to them if they accept or not.
Ah ju rebelat e shqipnis. You don't deserve none of our players . Albania qualified because of us. In two years time Kosova will be playing in the world cup in Russia .
lol post of the year.

Albania qualified because half of them were Albanians of Kosova who helped the team and they were not mentally like you, btw what are you? Albanian or Kosovan? Tell me again for what colour and under wich flag fought the martyrs of UCK ?

Your blue&yellow flag represent also the turks, romas and serbians. Our Red & Black flag represent Albanians and only Albanians.

Listen me smartass you can also take Necip Uysal (turk from Kosova) and Krasic+Bisevac (serbs from Kosova) you can get a better team this way and leave us alone with our only and real Albanian national team.

That was good. The funny thing is with the grek you have an idiot from Albanian with extreme views and with this guy you have an idiot from Kosovë with extreme ideas. The two extremes of the idiots collide and it is very funny. Both moronic ideas.

I agree with him that Albania will be bottom of the barrel again without the Kosovar players but he has to be delusional to believe that Kosovo playing in the World Cup is a guarantee.

If they can nab the Swiss players and Januzaj then they have a decent shot but if not then they have no chance in hell.

Right now they have bigger potential than Albania because their diaspora is simply superior footballing wise. Their diaspora will eventually slow down though and then begging 3rd and 4th generation Kosovars to play for you will be awkward. That's why they need to focus on producing domestic players just like we do. The diaspora should always be seen as a temporally/desperate solution, nothing more.

One NT that will drop dramatically in quality because their diaspora is weakening is Montenegro. After this Vucinic/Jovetic/Savic/etc generation they don't and won't have shit. Kosovo better be careful too.

Kosova teams weren't allowed to compete in European football so that had a profound effect on player development and opportunities for local talent. It's been like that for the past 20 years. You figure from this point on forward they'd atleast have a shot at developing players. They've also produced some guys like Rashica, Rrahmani, Berisha, Grezda, and Latifi which sadly is on the same level of talent the Superliga has developed recently.

Our teams with no diaspora:

Albania:
----Cikaleshi-Balaj
Vajushi-------------Roshi
---------Lilaj--Lila
Agoli-Osmani-Muca-Vangjeli
--------Shehu

I dont think Memushaj is a local talent either...

Kosova:

Berisha--Lullaku-Rashica
----Mazrekaj--Grezda-
---------Fejzallahu
Rrahmani-Jashanica-Dallku
------------Berisha

*didn't even bother looking for a RB

I'm probably missing players but yea both teams suck without the diaspora. However it looks a bit better once if you combine it to make the Albanian/Kosova domestic all stars :D

----------Cikaleshi
Berisha-Vajushi-Rashica
--------Lilaj--Fejzallahu
Agoli-Rrahmani-Dalku-Lila
------------Berisha

Might beat our current team lol

^ lol at the last lineup by Artan :D Anyway the best superliga produced players lineup would be :

Cikalleshi - Sadiku (Salihi)

Vajushi - Hyka - Bakaj - Roshi

Agolli - Osmani - Mallota (Dushku) - Lila

Hoxha (Shehu)

*Vangjeli is a greek product.

Ok let me tell you a story

Once upon a time there was a father who had so many children that even he couldn't remember all of them
Ηe had plenty of wifes and mistresses and each one of them had been pregnant at least once
When the kids grew up they used to live near their father's house who was a farmer and helped him with his land
They worked most of the day but at night they were happy for what they had achieved
Unlike them there was a not so small minority of children that left their father's house to find their luck at foreign lands. Those kids were mostly born by mistresses and didn't get the proper attention by their father
Some of them didn't make it and tried to get back home but their father didn't treated them so well
He told them that in order to live again nearby him they had to do twice as much work their brothers did but take the same credit
Most of them agreed and started by working hard to gain the respect of their father
But unlike them there was a much smaller minority of kids who succeeded at their journey
They made more than what everyone ever imagined when they left including their father
And now him wants them desperately back but they have different priorities

Sorry for long post :)
