Serbs complain about their team too. Similar issues as Albanians: Benchwarmers at their clubs, bad form, slow midfielders and attackers, no passion.

And yet they are absolute favorites to win in Albania. Just don't understand these odds.

Serbia is a serious team with one of the best domestic leagues in the Balkans..

Serbia beat Sweden on the road 0-3..

Serbia is coming off wins against Switzerland and Austria..

Albania just got relegated to UNL C..

What is so hard to understand?

Those mediocre achievements make it even harder to understand...

I watched that Serbia vs Austria game and Austria missed a bunch of sitters and their red card finished the game. It was a flukey win.

It should be a pk game just like it was in Elbasan. In a neutral venue Serbia should be -0.25 favorites and in Belgrade they should be -0.5/0.75 favorites. They have no business being -0.5 favorites in Albania. That's insane..

All the odds are saying is that Serbia will win easily.

I can’t say whether Serbia will win or not but what I can say is that they certainly deserve to be the favourite going in..

When it comes to team sports, Albania is no rival for Serbia. Serbia’s rivals are the best countries in the world. Per capita, they are one of the best producers of talent across the globe!

Serbia is a regular participant at the World Cup and a Serbian team (Red Star) won the European Cup. They have a long history of success in this sport!

For Albania, a win against Serbia is certainly an upset and would go down as one of the biggest wins in our history. For Serbia, beating Albania is an expected result. Just another day at the office for them..

That being said, opening odds suggested positive result for home around 3 of 5 times. Odds have since moved in favour of Serbia but still suggesting positive result roughly 54% of the time for home.

Serbia is a B level team, we're a C level team. Nothing hard to get. We played like a B level team for 9 months, but no we're back to being shit. None of us are A level world class teams though.

This is a match like no others, no one would've picked Albania to beat Greece in 2004.

They are at the same level as Czechs/Poland but you can argue those teams are better. Poland because at the very least they have a Lewa and Czechs because of their relentless high press and style of play.

The qualification Pots were spot on. England Pot 1, Serbia Pot 2, Albania Pot 3. We made Pot 2 for Euro 2024, but that was a one-off.

We overperformed when we beat Czechs/Polaks.
