If Granit Xhaka doesn't want to switch it's understandable because he's comfortable with Switzerland and has many friends there but upcoming Kosovar talents should always choose Kosovo.. at least until it stabilizes.

Madman(since you're the only Kosovar here), you agree?
No since we are Albanian we will continue to represent Albania. We do not sell out our Komb like you have sold yours to greece.

I don't know why you don't just leave this forum as no one likes you or even cares about your posts, in a positive manner that is.

I don't know why you don't feel Albanian, whether it's not having the UÇK or being brainwashed by the greeks. Go write on greek forums, I'm sure you will be more popular there and you will definately be more passionate.

To be honest I'm at the cross-roads over this myself. This has haunted me for a while now.

In one hand, I strongly believe players that are born and have come through the youth in Kosove shouldn't be labelled if they choose to represent Kosove. (which means I more-less agree with you).

On the other hand, I can see that this can weaken both squads and feels unnatural representing a flag/national anthem that I have no relation to but something imposed on us by various factors.

Looking at the bigger picture, Kosove is now officially recognised as a member of world organizing bodies, I cannot feel right having a NT that the likes of andorra would make a fool of.

A Kosovar playing for Kosovo cannot be a traitor (I hate that word so much anyways). That makes no sense. People should be able to play for their home country and not be ridiculed for it.

Not even Sotir Nini can be labeled a traitor. For me the only "traitor" (using the term very loosely) was Pirro Dhima, a product of Albania who went on to shit on us.

In this forum: many uneducated people.

How many of you have ever read a book on Albania's history. I know one poster definately did as a week ago or so he posted something interesting, just cannot remember who it was.
Anyway the word you lot are using for a Albanian from Kosovë is not valid for an Albanian to use. Only someone who is poorly educated uses that word. It is simply an Albanian from Kosovë.

You are right, every time I read the term "Kosovar" it makes my ears bleed, but unfortunately the term is commonly used by media and 98% of the people.

Lots of people on this forum are veteran posters and don't have the energy to fight at every turn. Plus it's the Internet, nobody wins fighting on the Internet.

I have a problem with guys like Januzaj and Mustafi who leveraged an Albania call up to join another National Team. I think the term "Tradhtar" is pretty accurate for these scumbags. As far as the guys who are born in other countries, and choose to represent those countries, we can't really fault them. Plus, it's only fair that they contribute to the countries that brought them up. However, because I understand it, it does not mean that I would do the same thing. Ne jemi dhe mbetemi Shqiptare.
