So right now we're first of all the third placed teams. Anybody know how many points do we need to qualify directly?

With 6 points you can get one of the top 2 spots anyway no? 6 points will be very hard to get.
Here against Denmark we are having some defensive problems and even Hysaj is questionable. Portugal will bring their strongest squad possible in Albania so that will be a real tough one.
I honestly think Serbia will enjoy playing in Elbasan. Tiny olympic stadium filled with politicians and their families. No hostile atmosphere, a good pitch which benefits the more technical team, etc..

Considering against who , where and the momentum of our defensive line that is a lot.Plako wrote:Damn that's a lot of pointsDragoi wrote:6 points more and the best third place is safe
But if we get 4 points drawing Denmark, Portugal, Serbia and Armenia it should be ok because i don't think Denmark will beat Portugal away from home . Although this friday's match will be very important in all scenarios for both team because even in a draw Uefa counts away goals in case we have the same points at the end of the tournment and if we even tie them at all... if we lose they go through 99%
We will draw with Serbia and might also get a point in Armenia but they won't matter at all if we lose both matches these 7 days, De Biasi started finding excuses already preparing media and journalists in case of a fail . Both matches are so close and there is few time to prepare them , also most of our players play in championships that just started unlike the Danes who are at half championship and have reached their maximum physical power.Dallku wrote:With 6 points you can get one of the top 2 spots anyway no? 6 points will be very hard to get.

Hysaj will play , sure thing our defence isn't ready physically and this is the point all our last qualifiers fall into the abyss

Don't wanna become an optimist nor a pessimist but we always find a way to f*** up when we need to win . Our fans here in Italy watched trainings yesterday and today and according to them (after what they saw in trainings) De Biasi will start with 4:3:2:1 (9 players behind the ball , hard bunkering) so no surprises at all and no Gashi :

Not expecting anything from this game but not too pessimistic either. After all even if we lose, we can't really complain as it would be the first this campaign. I don't see the point in analysing our players as they are not your traditional breed. The most unpredictable bunch ever and any stats on them (form, playing time, fitness levels) mean fvck all. Eriksen missing is a blessing, he makes them tick. Højbjerg is something thou but can't see him dominate our midfield. He must play Kace and Basha for us to register at least one attack in this game. Boilesen (their left back) just pulled out with injury too. Will this mean Durmisi playing against us? Overall I'm expecting a comfortable victory for Denmark. If we get a draw I'll be booking my Eurostar tickets in advance for next summer.

from what I'm reading this is the lineup:
----------Cika
Lenjani--------Gashi
------Xhaka-Abrashi
-----------Kukeli
Agoli-Ajeti-Cana-Hysaj(Gymcity)
-----------Berisha
Hysaj is currently injured but they're optimistic he'll be ready. But if he doesn't expect Gymcity to fill in at fullback for him. I think DB prefers Ajeti over Gymcity in the meantime in the center(assuming Gym won;t play at FB) because of their chemistry.
Really unfortunate for Kace if he doesn't start. I get DB wants to go with the pressing system which is our strength and Abrashi is better suited for it but Kace isn't a slouch.. I wouldn't start Kukeli mainly because he's been playing at CB for Zurich but I guess this is the lineup that got us in this position so far.

I don't mind a defensive line-up in this game. I just really think Basha needs to start over Kukeli. One way or another, we'll squeeze a goal in. Then bunker.

Abrashi always sucks when he plays for us. Worse than Bulku tbh
