Thing is Kace's Albanian is worst than Gashi's. I'm not even trying to bash on Kace or anything because I really don't care how good his Albanian is but I just want to point that out as I think some people here think he's completely fluent.
Kukeli definitively speaks the best out of the swiss dudes but can you really consider him Swiss?

To be fair only like 8 players on the NT were born and raised in Albania. The rest are diaspora players lol
BTW, why is Durres so underwhelming when it comes to football? Berti explain this one to me brotha

Nah I think Kace's is definitely better than Gashis. Ai flet shqipen letrare pak a shume.
Gashi and Kosovars general do have a thick accent though. Very distinct. Kace said it sounds Arabic but to be honest, to me some Kosovars sound like Slavs who learned how to speak Albanian. Which probably has to do with how heavily oppressed they were during the Yugo times.

Albanians from the former Yugo definitely have a thick accent and a bit slower in general. Definitely sounds much more harsher, tribal, villager, etc, whatever you wanna call it compared to Albanians from the south. First time I went to actual Albania I thought you guys were speaking Italian.

It's funny that the more south you get the cockier the people get. Ghegs got you thinking they're the ones who built Rome, and Tosks will tell you they're true descendants of the Ancient Hellas.
At the end of they day I don't meant to insult by saying Kosovars sound slavic. We all do to the westerners.. But at least we can all agree no one sounds more hillbilly than the Shqipes in Macedonia

I always got this impression too. I know a lot of Bosnians and a few Croatians and they all have this thick, deep voice dialect that Kosovars have. The Albanian Kosovars speak has definitely been influenced by Slavs. There is no doubt about that!!

I really don't know. They told me that the words I use and how I pronounce some words ex. mbret becomes mret, nder becomes ner give away that I'm a Malsor but that my actual accent makes me sound like a Kosovar. They told me in Shëngjin people would think I was from Kosovo or Switzerland or Austria.
My dad though speaks like a total Shkodran. Why did I have to be around my malok grandparents so much growing up.
