I'm an Albanian from Albania too and I agree 100% with what Rodon is saying and then some. It's just the way it is. Albanians from Albania couldn't possibly care less about this stuff. They are only nationalists occasionally like when the NT plays vs "enemies" and they have to jump on the bandwagon. That's so fake though. There is actually some patriotism deep inside every Albanian but it's not really genuine or sincere if that makes sense. 'Passive' is a good term to describe it because if there was a voting process held to choose between unification or not you better believe that most Albanians wouldn't even bother going to vote.

The nationalism of Kosovars is a debatable one too. Of course they are more than those of Albania considering their upbringing but you better believe that it's in decline and will decline way more rapidly when they become a legitimate state recognized by everyone. I always cringe at this "we will unite" nonsense because they are just silly internet pipe dreams that hold no base.

Anyone can post whatever they want but everytime i see you post it is something ridiculous. If you post about something have knowledge about it.

You posted some time ago our staring line up at the Euros should include Rama and i think Besart Berisha aswell. Rama is out of the team with no return and Berisha has been out even longer. Taulant Xhaka said there is only one National Team for him. Avdijaj said o ly 2 weeks ago he has no interest in Kosova as he blood is red and black. Rashica again posted today something with the Albanian flag on his Instagram, his display picture is the Albanian flag, and out of all the players he posts about Albania the most, he wants to be at the Euros aswell which would mean he can't play for Kosova.

Simboli and nyvirus got pretty pissed off when I pointed out that there were way many too serbs in Albanian league. They genuinely don't understand what's the problem of an Albanian with that. When I posted pics of dead Albanians in the kosovo war to explain them why it was a wrong thing to do, pics were removed because apparently "too strong" for their delicate tastes. As if the massacres of Albanian brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers and friends were just a bad nightmare to remove from memory. This is our situation, Albo-Eagle.

Those pics should be fire branded in the mind of every Albanians, let alone being removed because "too strong".
Agreed. I don't undertand this, just because your family were not involved in the war it still does not make sense to me how you cannot feel hurt or angry at what they did to us. It was ethnic cleansing, it was one of the dirtiest things you could do to a population. 12,000 murders amd 20,000 rapes. I find it unbelievable some people do not feel anger towards those barbarians.

The shkije have nothing against Kosova having a football team even thougb they act as if they do. For them it is good as it creates a divide between Albanians again. They just act as if they don't want it so these Albanians get happy when they get it and think they got one over the shkije. TKZ who have attended every game for 13 years want one Albanian team, people should take note of it.

As for violent images or so on, if you don't undersatnd what the hatred against those subhumans is then watch these: https://youtu.be/ulPsNrMMZ3E

Thry are not 'silly pipe dreams'. Vetëvendosje are the most popular part in Kosovë and there is no one more patriotic in the whole country then Albin Kurti.

We r just at the beginning of a long journey lads
I think tomorrow will be a big day for Kosovars and Albanians in general
If everything goes according to the plan Kosova will get it's participation at the next qualifiers for the Russian WC and after that many things may change
I read that FIFA and UEFA will give to the players of Kosovan origin a deadline date to choose if they will move to the Kosova NT or remain at their current one
This date will be for sure before the qualifications for the WC but if it is before EURO then Kosova's chances of getting some important players will be limited cause most of them won't lose the opportunity of playing at EURO'S with their current NT
Plus Kosova no matter who comes will be a pot 6 team even behind Gibraltar at the start of its international career so it will be almost impossible for them to qualify at any major tournament within 6-8 years :o

What kind of big day are you talking about? You mean worst nightmare ever.

f*** Kosovan national team there is no Kosovan football team, there is only Albania. Why servian players from Kosova like Bisevac or Krasic doesn't go to play for Kosovo? Because they recognize Kosova as part of Serbia and play only for Serbia, then Albanians there should do the same. Kosova national team doesn't exist, boycott it, burn it. I'm praying that this shit isnot going to happen seriously.

Even if Vetevendosje is popular in Kosovo(for now) it doesn't matter because at the end of the day it takes two people to tango. In Albania 98% of people don't even know or care what a Vetevendosje is. There was a nationalistic party in Albania named 'Aleanca Kuqezi' or something like that but it died pretty quickly because nobody cares about this shit over there. It's seen as a laughing stock more than anything.

Before 99 we couldn't locate Kosovo on the map let's be honest.

I agree with your overall assessment of nationalism in Albania but let's not exaggerate much, Kosova has always been a part of our national psyche. Thinks may have not been ideal in the 1990's with the economic collapse that followed the fall of the communist regime but Kosova was always part of the national discussion.

As for Aleanca Kuqezi, it was not a nationalist movement, just a ploy by whoever was behind Kreshnik Spahiu to stir the pot of the Albanian political scene a bit.

People do care and according the polls 65% of RA citizens are pro unification, a bit lower than that of Kosova which is at 75% if I'm not mistaken. It's just that economic concerns take priority and we've been hit hard by the global recession so you won't hear much of unification talk. Also our political class is completely subservient to the EU and US masters who are not fond of any unification talk so they don't bring it up at all. If there were to be a referendum on unification it would pass by 80% easily. Anyone advocating openly against unification would commit political suicide.
