There are some fields in Albania where you can't win because they wouldn't let you play football also in some cases refree's side with a team. I doubt that Shkendija in Albanian Superliga would come closer than third place. That's why sometimes owners that pay millions of euros (without getting anything in return) try to manipulate/corrupt the matches in their favour.

You exclude Latifi and there's no one close to the quality of Hasani and Ibraimi in the Albania's superliga. I don't think they're stronger than Skenderbeu as a team, but they'd beat any other club in Albania.

Takaj won a lot of money from the EL a few years ago but you can tell that he kept all that money to himself and didn't invest anything in the team. The team actually got weaker if anything. Right now all they have is Latifi, Lilaj and Vangjeli which are good. Radas and Jashanica are ok too. The rest should've been replaced by higher level players. I mean right now they got Osmani playing as a DM which is a total joke.

Skenderbeu's biggest hit was when they were accused of match fixing, and got kicked out of Europe. Idiotic mistake to say the least. Takaj has made millions from Europe, and you're still match fixing? What a dunce.
Partizani should have capitalised on that properly, but they choked.

Shehi is massive in Europe.

Skenderbeu is the most consistent team in Albania and that's why they're always on top. Their core this past 5-7 years consisted of Shehi, Vangjelli, Lilaj, Latifi, Berisha, Shkembi, Jashanica, Radas, Olayinka, etc.. Some of them were sold but they generally had the same key core of players year in and year out. It allowed them to develop as a team and it allowed newcomers (like Latifi) to do well. These other Albanian teams don't have the patience and go through roster overhauls every year. Worst of all they waste their budgets on serbian and brazilian mercenaries who are pure garbage.
Too bad Skenderbeu doesn't have a good youth academy then they go to Dinamo Zagreb route and just farm them out to bigger clubs. Skenderbeu does a decent job of buying other teams young players and making them okay (Berisha, Latifi, Olayinka, etc). Maybe they can do the same with this Gripshi kid.
It's gotten to the point where I don't even care if Skenderbeu fixes game, they're the closest thing we have to a professional club. Other teams should use them as an example on how to build successful teams (minus the match fixing part)

Is Skenderbeu a privatised club? going through their website I can only see they have like local sponsorships and nothing large in terms of money coming in.

Skenderbeu takes a 1-0 lead in Zagreb; playing fairly well so far (41st min).
EDIT HT 1-0: They're actually playing really fvcking well, showing no fear and totally taking the game to DZ. Latifi with the goal off his own rebound, he should've passed it prior though -- for a 100% goal. Gazavaj also playing really well.

Pretty shocked at how bad Dinamo Zagreb is tbh. Skenderbeu better not choke here. They have serious chances.

I don't know if Skenderbeu has the stamina to keep the lead for 90 minutes. Albo teams are 50 minute teams.
