Hellas Verona wants Shkelzen Gashi if he is sure to be a starter he should get the f*** out of Basel.

Seems like Serie A teams are after Albanians. Kaçe, Xhaka, Xhimsiti, Gashi.

His former manager is there so I don't see why not? I'm just afraid he's going to be a utility player with one game as a fullback, next game as a winger for defensive purposes and another game as a bulldog. I'm afraid he'll never cement his place and will be looked as that useful utility player that starts once in a while but is a versatile sub.

I hope he gets more time as a defensive midfield because that's where his warrior skillset is best used.

Sokol Cikalleshi with an hattrick in cup game for Istanbul BB against a low-table team from second turkish division, it's still good for the moral.

Thats the thing though. Fiorentina plays possession football and doesnt use Xhaka-like players in midfield. Sousa could put him as RB but hes not at his best there.

Yea not sure it would be the best of fit, Mario Suarez even has struggled to get time for Viola

But xhaka has the former manager connection so we shall see

De Biasi said he will not call up Tarashaj as long as he is manager because when he spoke to him Tarashaj said he is not thinking of National Team football at the moment. He said only chance Tarashaj has to play for Albania is for there to be a change of manager.

Berisha has a mental problem that will block him from becoming a top player. I don't think he has the self belief and confidence to break through that wall. Everytime he does well and goes on a good streak, he always has to f*** up in some way or another.

Woudn't be surprised if Strakosha overthrones him in next qualifiers. Ujkani wasn't good coming out from goalie but he at least had decent reflexes , Berisha is so slow . Guerrieri might get the second goalkeeper place by june. Seems Berisha will start today against Udinese in Coppa Italia and against Inter this Sunday. Marchetti will be back in January.

Strakosha is pretty overrated imo. He has the same mentality/inferiority complex as Berisha, with 1/4th of the skill.

Berisha has been superb for the NT and the thought of strakosha benching him is absurd.

It's really difficult for a young/inexperienced Goalkeeper to establish himself in a somewhat big European side. They need trust and confidence from the coach and need an extended time to start to establish themselves. With Berisha it was difficult because he's been brought in as the backup and even pushed Marchetti for his spot numerous times. He needed to have a string of really impressive performances to overtake the spot from an established keeper like Marchetti and that's just something difficult to get from a goalie because they are so reliant on how the team is performing. He just needs a team where he'll be the clear cut #1. I tend to overrate many of our guys(I'm guilty of it) but one player I know is worthy of praise is Berisha...
