Dude wtf are you talking about? PDIU are filled with scumbags and goons amongst their ranks. These small parties in Albania are cancer. They do the bidding of the bigger parties: threaten employees, coerce villagers, buy votes. They literally just helped PS buy votes in Diber.
The main problem there is all government positions are given to party militants. If you want a job as a teacher, in the municipal government, or even as a fucking janitor, you need to be connected to parties or bring 20-30 new votes and pay money. If your party loses, you might lose your job. You're beating a dead horse. No one gives a shit about nationalistic populism there.

I feel bad for Albania as they don't have an alternative when it comes to politics. In Kosove we do, but it has to be created there and can't be exported from Kosove. But there's a bit of hope, though. I see some students who lead protests and shit, but they might turn out like Tirana's mayor in the future, so who knows.
VV isn't right wing nationalistic. There's a huge difference between left wing "nationalism" and a right wing nationalism. Also, I don't understand the 'populism' argument - what exactly makes VV populists?
On the contrary, Albania needs its own 'VV' - not a copy, but a movement created by those who want change and a movement 'born' out of the struggles of the Albanians in Albania and not imported from somewhere else. But hey... if you want to continue down the same road, be my guest.

Like he said, Albania has no alternative. That is what i was saying. They have PS and PD, and even though to Albanians there it may look like they are two different worlds, they are really the same. Whoever wins doesn't matter, things will remain as they were going. We have VV, you lot need something desperately. The mother nation cannot be the weak point to Shkup and Prishtinë. Shkup and Prishtinë should be looking to Tiranë as it's protector and the strong point but in reality it is very similar to them. shkijt wherever they are, are deviated towards beograd as it is the strong point. We do not have that.
I do hope bashkimi kombëtar bëhet, and VV get a chance to go and try and win Albania but like i said politics in Albania is basically a dull same same.
As for PDIU, they proved themselves by getting the Çam issue recognised by the EU, so cut the bullshit as if they are hugely corrupted and so on. They are there to do that job and seem to be getting the result avash avash.
Patriotism is very positive, not negative like you see it. It won us a war in Kosovë very recently. I know PDIU are very very very unlikely to ever win Albania but like i said they to me seem like the only decent party in Albania. PD and PS may seem worlds apart to people in the fish bowl, but us people outside can see they are very very close to eachother.

Albania has like 100 parties so there are alternatives. The myth that there are no alternatives is exactly what the big mafia trio wants us to believe so we dont vote. Unfortunately a lot of civic groupings are on this bandwagon and incite people to not vote, though this is the worst thing to do if we want to get rid of the mafia oligarchy.
Dangerous communist ideas like "the state should provide for us" are deeply rooted in the minds of some of these pathetic losers.

PDIU doesn't care about money except all the votes they buy.
I don't understand what "alternatives" keep getting discussed. People's jobs are party-dependent. Even if you had the most democratic party in the world, no one would vote for them unless they get paid off or get a government job.

Aurora Bulkualis wrote:People's jobs are party-dependent.

Lol you say it's wrong, and then proceed to agree with me. I'm not saying everyone's jobs are dependent on parties, but most government jobs are given to party militants. Even some sectors like clothing sector employ depending on how many votes you can bring them in, since they have ties to party heads (LSI).
Also, that thing you posted is ironic. It calls the nisma guys communists because they blame the government and it's actually the people's fault for not doing anything. The nisma guys ARE doing something and they're against any government. They're not sitting around like sheep, and are fighting for democracy, regardless of who is in power.

nisma doesn't say the only solution is recycling politicians. it doesn't trust any of them.

Isnt it the same thing? We dotn trust these so lets bring in some new ones. And who is to say they wont end up like Veliaj and Spiropali? I know only one thing for sure: You get 105k+ likes on fb (in Albania) either by kissing a lot of ass and not making any ideological enemies, or by financing. Either way it's bad for me.
