2:13 - Manaj threatens the goal with powerful shot on target, wins corner.

2:48 - Manaj shot on target.

4:35 - Bare puts final nail in coffin.

6:18 - Manaj wins clear penalty, cheated by corrupt official.

6:26 - Bare has to take the man out there, instead gets shrugged off like an insect leading to a fourth goal (disallowed).

Who is really the bum here..?

What a goal by Manaj !

He’s still the bum , not Bare. We see this over 38 game league campaigns and not single games vs Poland.

3 goals in the league this year … that’s all we need to know

Here was biggest game Albania had played in years, and Manaj played like a MAN, while Bare played like a little girl.

World Cup final at home v. Poland, Bare wet the bed again, outplayed by Ramadani (best player on pitch)

3 goals doesn't mean he's playing bad. Context really matters.

Bare is a good player, I always backed him even when he was in Segunda B and pretty much nobody here liked him. I don't get the division that has been made between him and Manaj because both are doing good things at club level.

They are both quite young and have their best years ahead of them, and both have a firm starting spot in a top league. Stuff to be happy about.

It wouldn’t mean he’s bad if he was elite at other stuff but it’s par for his career , he’s just a bad ST . No need to try and come up with excuses, he is who he is.

Broja getting us those 2 wins vs Hungary is making an impact as a ST. I can’t remember one thing Manaj did the whole campaign. Did Bare f*** your girl ?

Muriqi has scored 2 goals in 4 league games for Mallorca, 1 less than Manaj for the year, whats the excuse ? He also has more goals in the international scene than any other Albanian before him. I wouldn't go for Muriqi.

Thiago Motta : "We're talking about Rey because he scored a goal but he is fundamental to the team for some time now. He helps to keep the ball when the team suffers in possession, to get the team up with his movements, and also does very well in the defensive phase. He is a guy who works hard every week and has gained my trust".

He's playing well! He's not the scoring forward we would like but he has been doing well for his team.

Serie A is the constant variable, where Manaj, despite being younger and on a worse team, has outperformed Muriqi. Simple as that..

Internationally, Muriqi (turning 28) has the upper hand with 10 goals in official matches. No doubt about it.. Ray is turning 25, and has time to catch up (6 goals).

Cikalleshi and Muriqi is a much better comparison for international football. Muriqi has never scored an open play goal on a top 40 opponent. Cikalleshi has done it twice (at Poland, v. Iceland). In official matches, Muriqi scores every ~213 minutes, where Cikalleshi scores every ~168 minutes. That being said, both are absolute heroes for their respective nations!
