Funny how all the Sadiku fan boys are the same people who talk down anyone not playing in a top league.
Your hero did most of his damage in the 2nd Swiss division, and failed wherever else he went. Still had a respectable career for Albania, and was like Ibra compared to some of these super professionals of today.
Cikalleshi was always the better player though. He will most likely finish with a better career when it is all said and done.

So then that proves our impartiality no? Even though he wasn't a top league player we are still praising him because he was good. Showing that we don't just judge players on whether they play in top leagues.Princ wrote: ↑Sat Apr 16, 2022 8:22 pm Funny how all the Sadiku fan boys are the same people who talk down anyone not playing in a top league.

Given how firmly you are against players being judged by their club career it doesn't make sense for you to say this.

I am not judging him by his club career..
One more time, he was Ibra compared to a bunch of the super professionals today. He had a respectable career for Albania, no doubt about it.
You contradict yourself by calling players “scrubs” for not playing in top leagues, while praising Sadiku, a career journeyman who played well only in Swiss 2nd division.
By your logic, Sadiku is a SCRUB!

And it's not true either. He had good stints in the Swiss 1st division and the Segunda.

The talent level was so low back then and he was the best available. He was a scrub but lets not act like scrubs can't have a period in time where they can be affective if everything goes well together and it's their moment. It's possible. Balaj scored against Portugal, Kace scored against France, Salihi scored against Norway away, Lenjani scored against Denmark, etc etc.. Were all those flukes?? Probably but bad players can have moments like that in a 90 minute game. The difference is that the odds are slimmer on them doing something as opposed to better players. But not impossible.

If you were following along you’d see why but you love missing the simple stuff.
As we said he was really starting to get going before that 2nd ACL ruptured, he had just signed in the La Liga, and was scoring regularly. Again not exactly struggling for both club and country in the Croatian league .

You advocate for continuing to start a washed up Hysaj, regardless of the mistakes he makes every game.RedFootballs wrote: ↑Sat Apr 16, 2022 9:25 pm I have never said this.

Although Doka has looked real good when given a chance, you discriminate against him due to where he plays club football. Where is this same criticism for Sadiku, a 2nd division player who flopped hard wherever he went (Poland, Turkey, Bolivia, etc.)

A washed up Hysaj will ALWAYS be better than that downs looking bum. He didn't look good at all when he played for us and neither for club, his career is going backwards.Princ wrote: ↑Sun Apr 17, 2022 12:09 amYou advocate for continuing to start a washed up Hysaj, regardless of the mistakes he makes every game.RedFootballs wrote: ↑Sat Apr 16, 2022 9:25 pm I have never said this.
