Well it's not that he is getting zoned out the game or can't beat the defenders, he is creating opportunities and playing well but has been very wasteful. If he can improve his finishing he would have 6-7 goals by now. He has benched Mbala Nzola who had 11 goals and 4 assists in Serie A last season for Spezia and was their best player.

I would also add he has played a lot of minutes as AM/F9 instead of pure striker.

He proves his "creativity" with the grand total of 0 assists he has this season. 1 goal and 0 assists. You could literally put a poll in the penaltybox and it could contribute more than Manaj.

Manaj offers nothing.

Meanwhile his goals were against:

San Marino(2x)
Andorra
Kazakhstan
Belarus
Moldova

You could get a random striker from FK Gramozi and he would score on those amateurs.

Only reason Manaj has nearly 30 caps is because of blatant corruption.

Suga is a bonafide terror of lower level opposition, as he consistently rips them to shreds.

Find me another player on the NT, save Broja and Cikalleshi, that you believe can do this. Albania had to get gifted a cheap penalty at home to come away with a single goal (and 3rd place) against Andorra last time out, with those 3 players inactive.

You guys write here all the time about how you want top5 league professionals. Now that Manaj is starting every game even with so many forwards in Spezia you criticise the statistics.

In terms of aerial duels, defensive contribution, holdup play and winning fouls he does what Motta asks of him in helping the buildup and relieving pressure as an outlet. He is at fault for his poor finishing and could well have more goals, but that doesn't mean he isn't playing well.

Many of the players which are considered more talented on this forum couldn't play any minutes in a top league. When his competitors are Balaj or Seferi it is easy to see who the choice is, it's not corruption that he gets picked over literal amateurs. And playing in Serie A will improve him, he can be a useful player for the NT.

Strakosha with some good saves from the highlights. Nothing he could do about either goal. They were pinpoint accurate with a lot of power.

Mourinho doesn't field Kumbulla, and Roma conceded 4 goals, after leading 3-1. I'm glad they're showing what a shitshow defensively that team is. It's got very little to do with Kumbulla.

This. Someone like Seferi would have been able to score those goals if given the chance. When he’s up against any professional competition Manaj is useless in all facets of the game.

Save Broja and Cikalleshi, who are all these other beasts against professional competition?

Sadiku, Balaj, Salihi all scored important goals against professional teams. They weren't great but even they were capable of scoring against professionals. This only highlights how bad Manaj is.

The ultimate dream for many of these payers is to get a hot girl or a great car. Very few have the dedication that is required to excel at the top level, I'm hoping for our own sake Broja nuk gjen nai pidh t'bukur po merr nai goc per shpi nga Malsia :)
