I understand calling up Olayinka if he actually grew up in Albania or if he was Ronaldo, Messi talent. But calling up Olayinka would be degrading ourselves further.
I wouldnt put it that way but I agree , he's not Albanian , he lived there for 4 years . That doesnt make you from somewhere , he's not Albanian at all , he's Nigerian and nothing will change that

He’s not ronaldo or messi but even a blind man can see he’s miles better than any of our strikers.. all these other countries italy included jump at the chance of picking up talent be it from nigeria China Somalia wherever and they actually have a way bigger player pool to choose from than us. It makes no sense to pass up a useful player when it’s only a matter of time before albanian born arabs and blacks who are really no more albanian than olayinka play for us..attacking talent doesn’t grow on trees for albanians so we need to take whatever we can get beggers cannot be choosers

Who cares dude, he has zero connection to Albania. If he was born in Albanian or lives there then by all means call him up.

What connection did balliu have to albania? Jorginho plays for Italy, he moved there at age 15 like olayinka... why should other nations take talent and we leave it on the table when we’re already weak as it is.. what’s it to you what connection he has with albania? You are not taking him as son in law he is here to improve our weak nt, if he’s willing to play there is no reason to deny him

Olayinka is not a good finisher either. He's the type of attacker who's good at build up play and holding the ball but he's far from a true #9.

I agree. Balaj has been terrible since the 2014 Portugal match and starts regularly. I don't ever remember Cika scoring a goal besides that meaningless tap in against Moldova. These two get defended by the journalists which is astonishing. If they were diaspora players they would have been dropped 3 years ago.

Manaj has been disappointing as a whole since when he first came up in 2015 but there might be some potential. We should keep playing him up until the next qualification campaign where maybe some one else emerges like ademi, Broja, Mergim Berisha, Andi Zeqiri, Seferi, etc.. I don't think Manaj is a long term option at the moment.

His last name is Albanian, his dad is Albanian, therefore his race is Albanian.

Jorginho had both an Italian and Brazilian passport before choosing which side to play for. Olayinka does not. We would literally have to gift him a passport to play for us. Which is pathetic.

Rewatched the match.
Of those who played we can build the next qualifiers on :
Strakosha, Dermaku, Ismaili, Veseli, Djimsiti, Bare, Gjasula, Manaj, Abrashi .

Need to be droped as soon as possible: Lenjani, Memushaj, Cikalleshi and Balaj.

I’m curious to watch Kumbulla, Seferi, Selahi.

Good bench Players: Roshi, Mihaj, Berisha , Selmani, Qose, Trashi.

For me it makes no sense calling Hoxha , Ramadani , Memolla and then send Kumbulla in the stands.

Next match doesn’t matter at all and even Andora beat Moldova . So if Kumbulla , Selahi, Seferi don’t get capped then they have all the reasons to get upset. From now on it’s all about giving a chance to youngsters and build for the next qualifiers.
