Not just that but we beat Portugal without Cr7 away from home, and held them full strength until the end at home. France was World Cup Winners and EURO finalists while Portugal EURO winners. That was a hard as a f*** group too and we got a bit lucky that Serbia was dogshit that campaign.

This is why you have to qualify properly.

That whole campaign we were extremely competitive maybe with the exception of the second leg of the Serbia match (even then we just collapsed at the end). Gave up a last minute goal on a corner to Portugal and dropped a poiint, Roshi missed a golden 1 v 1 chance against the keeper against Denmark which would have got us 3 points, the collapse against Serbia (even if they were the better team). Both friendlies against France we played really well too.

That team had an identity and tactics that matched the style of the players. They were super competitive.

Roshi was the savior of that team. Creating chances out of nowhere just because of his pace alone

. Despite having a very bad club career(and never living up to his true potential) Roshi is an absolute Albania legend. He was special for the u21 too.

He just had one good game against Portugal and that was it. Then lost his spot to Lila. To say he was the savior is hilarious.

Roshi's impact is beyond stats and you know it. Even his stats are not what they should be because his teammates couldn't finish the easy chances he created.

But beyond stats he gives the team oxygen and belief by counter attacking .Gives the defense a breather which is better than getting pinned in your box for 90 minutes. Feels like Albania either won or drew when he started and when he came on as a sub he always had an impact.

Hungary will be a bitch to play against. They have 11 Andi Lilas out there but slightly more skillful.

Gotta take into account they have 60,000 home fans at the Euros. That’s a huge boost.

No Szaboslai too, I think they beat us purely because Reja will do the usual .

Roshi didn't start becoming a useful player until after the 2016 Euros. He was actually very good in the first half of 2018 WCQ and the Nations League until he got injured. But before that I just remember him being a brainless footballer who lacked any IQ and would just sprint at players. He was always a somewhat useful his sub because his pace combined with our counter attacking style of play would always give teams fit. Such a frustrating player as you see glimpses of his talent and athletic ability. I personally don't think he had a better career than Lenjani.

In official matches, Roshi has registered assists against Portugal, Switzerland, and Israel, scoring goals on Slovenia, Iceland and North Macedonia.

Lenjani has scored on Denmark. Both have assisted against Armenia.

Official total:
Raketa 4 goals, 9 assists
Lenjani 2 goals, 1 assist

Roshi is Albanian legend and the most productive offensive player of his era. Put some respect on his name.

I'll give you that he had the better career than Lenjani. But like I said all of his production came from the 2018 WCQ and that was it. And I'm pretty sure Lenjani has 4 goals as well (if transfermarket is correct).

If Roshi is a legend than so is Armando Sadiku.
