You believe that a big, strong team like Iceland will let us run them over in their capital city?

Who do we look like to you? England?

A loss is not acceptable.
When is the last time we won a match in Iceland?

A win there is a miracle, as the Vikings are favoured to come out on top.
Well in my opinion, we have comfortably beat both Iceland and Israel when we were in a worse moment than we are now, with worse players. 4-2 and 3-0.

We must win the group or at least challenge to do it,

After Spain played us, and barely won with a stoppage time offside goal, they hammered Iceland 5-0.

They are not some super strong defensive team, they concede a ton of goals and don't attack all that well either. I understand we should not be complacent but you are overestimating the enemy.

A full strength Albania is way better than Iceland and should win even away.

A current Albania with a projected lineup of Cikalleshi, Seferi, Cekici, Gjasula, Abrashi will absolutely struggle. Let's not kid ourselves.

My god what the f*** is that formation. At least defence is not injured. Best we can hope for is a 1-0 from a Djimsiti or Kumbulla header or something.

Is Asllani injured too? Or does Reja simply prefer Abrashi over him? And no Bajrami as well?

Sucks that Broja faked his way out and losing Uzuini is big because he provides us with attacking flexibility. Uzuini gets alot of shit but he's our best attacker outside of Broja at the moment,

I still think the key is 3-4-3 with Cekici and Bajrami on the wings for this match. You need to have some kind of attacking threats in the linup and Seferi/Cikaleshi as you're pairing with the midfield we're expected is laughable. Reja just doesn't understand the idea of having balance in the lineup.

Southgate is a crap manager. But they clearly don't wanna be there, long season and now have to play useless games in front of 14 year olds

Asllani was hurt in a challenge by Dermaku but I think he'll be ok. Broja has not faked anything, he's back in training now and probably will join up for the second game. Covid isn't a joke especially for athletes where a every little % counts towards performance.
