From all names mentioned as possible candidates i would preferred Esteban Cambiasso. It's definitely gamble because doesn't have experience as manager but as player he had all attributes to become great manager. Unfortunately we don't have budget to attract world class managers, so we have to choose between profiles as Reja who are almost retired or inexperienced managers as Panucci.
You dont need a world class manager, Tunisia just drew with Denmark with a domestic coach. It just cant be a boring appointment.
Every country has different mentality, different dynamics, just because it works for Tunisia or other some countries doesn't mean it will work for Albania. I don't know if there is country where managers are less valued than in Albania, i don't think albanian manager will get respect and support from federation, players and football community in general.

Astrit Hafizi did ok as our coach. We scored 5 goals against Germany in the qualifiers. albeit losing both games.

I just think it’s time an Albanian has the job. Gotta start believing in ourselves .

Well looks like Saudi Arabia wasn't bullshitting when they were hiding their friendly matches. They really did have top secret tactics they didn't want the world to see. :rrokullisem:

Didn't watch but apparently they were sprinting like maniacs for 90 minutes. Maybe their top secret is some unidentified doping or something.

It was more like Argentina had a bunch of disallowed goals.

Saudi Arabia handled Argentinian superstars but could not handle Odise Roshi..

Team full of domestic leaguers runs over Argentina while Albania still bothers with foreigners.

How can Albanians “believe in ourselves” when all spots on NT are awarded to foreigners?

Foreign team with domestic coach does not sound right to me..

That Lautaro offside was shady af They only showed one defender and not the whole defensive line. Same with the disallowed Qatari goal.
