Hungary is the 2nd strongest team in that group, we beat them twice, but Reja/Duka a.k.a. dumb and dumber dynamic duo will bungle every easy shot. These morons even bungled Albania going into Group A after the Russia gift, which could have led to us possibly getting a EURO spot through NL.
I wouldn't be surprised if Reja lost to Luxembourg or some shit if that made us qualify for WC.
You are acting as if Albania is a football powerhouse and it's up to them to qualify for any major tournament, or have been tournament regulars in the past and they boycott them by choice.
No big deal to admit we lost to a better Polish team, although not a good team in general.

Israel was a better team than Albania. The issue is not we didn't go. It's that we beat Hungary, the 2nd strongest, and Reja fucked up against Poland.
What is the excuse that Reja can't even get past Israel and Iceland? The guy can't capitalize on layups.

The way I see it is you actually overrate the Albanian squad quite a lot, victories against the likes of Iceland and Israel shouldn't be for granted for a team like us. Excluding perhaps 15-20 teams in the world, most other teams are of similar level and the difference between them is just a few talented individuals.
It’s normal for teams to underperform in the finals. Denmark choked hard, Mexico was poor, Belgium can potentially be eliminated, Wales looked awful, Germany lost to Japan, etc.
It’s hard and not easy. Doesn’t mean Albania is better than Poland lol. They absolutely dominated us and have constantly qualified for tournaments.
Australia on the other hand is different since their qualification is a joke. The same with Central banks American teams. Eventually they’ll get lucky one tournament due to the numerous easy times they’ll qualify.

There is a difference between saying Albania should be better than Poland for the next 10 years, and Albania should win one game at home. We are more than strong enough to pull off a win at home against Poland. That was a disgraceful showing, tactically and technically.
The issue is whenever the path was cleared for us, Reja & co. shat their pants. It doesn't matter if it was Poland or Israel.

Hungary got 4 points from Poland and was beating teams like England/Germany in Nations League.
They should have been in this World Cup if it wasn't for Armando Broja. The guy Reja benched when he was in peak form. He's finally playing him now though that Broja's off form though. Par for the course.

That’s a very weak call right there. Hungary is not in the World Cup because they were worse than Poland overall and not because of Broja. Poland did well against England and beat comfortably Albania at home, while they were never in danger in the away game. Only dropped points to Hungary in the last match day when they already had a 5 point difference.
Again the fact that they look beatable against the likes of Argentina and Mexico shouldn’t give the impression that we’re on par with them and should expect a victory even in a home game.

Poland plays knockouts, Hungary watches from home. Poland was ranked inside the top 5 a couple of years ago, Hungary has never been ranked inside the top 15 in history. Poland is currently ranked 10 spots higher than Hungary.
Poland is better than Hungary , much more talent. Lewandowski alone swings that, Hungary is basically Di Biasi’s Albania with a couple extra technical players.
