Mourinho leaves Kumbulla on bench in home country.

That’s low..

I still don't get why Kumbulla is wasting his time on that team. He's not performing worse than those other players and gets 1/3rd of the playtime, all because they were "established" when he went there.

Kumbulla was never going to start in this game unless there was an injury. Smalling has been an absolute monster and Ibanez/Mancini very solid in the past weeks.

This is their most important game of the year and winning > feelings.

Kumbulla is not some random amateur, as he has logged over 1700 minutes in all competitions with Roma this season.

Would hardly make any difference to start him over one of the others mentioned above. Marash is in his home country, where he would give his heart on the pitch tonight. It is a dirty, and overall stupid move to sit him..

Go Feyenoord!

That's easy for you to say because you don't watch Roma games.

Find me one Roma fan who's disappointed with Kumbulla not starting over their regular defensive trio. You won't find one.

Marash has improved and even Mourinho recognizes his potential and said that he'll stay next season. He's just 4th in the pecking order and that's OK. His competition is Italy and Brazil internationals not some amateurs.

Not very high level of football, lol. It's pretty good physically but they're lacking in terms of gameplay, especially Feyenoord.

Roma haven't won any European title in like 30 years or something.

If Mourinho left Kumbulla on the bench he just doesn't think he is better than the guys out there. This is so important especially with their poor domestic season, so for better or for worse, he doesn't see Kumbulla as a starting choice.

All finals are ugly and cagey. At least this one had a goal lol

Feyernoord with the Dutch league defending on that Zaniolo goal. You won't see Smalling and co. make blunders like that. Roma likes to defend deep and counter so this is a bad match up for Feyernoord.
