With memories of the golden years (80's) of the albanian football still fresh on her mind, Albania is now attempting to recreate its strong football legacy. As young players start making their names abroad, the future is looking bright for Albanian football!

If he leaves then we're exposed. Such a vital player for our team. Who do we even have to replace him?
No one really. Alban Hoxha would be the next in line but I'm terrified at the idea of him being our #1 LOL. We would start conceding a lot of soft/amateurish goals.
Strakosha jr is the "potential" one but he remains potential. Not sure if he's even a starter in Serie C.
Oh man Berisha would be a massive loss. He's still young for a goalie and we could get another decade out of him.
I can't help but think that the players are also doing the WC qualifying math and we have 0 chance of qualifying through our group for Russia 2018. Whereas Kosova has a slight chance, however minimal, of getting second place no matter which group they get placed in.
Like De Biasi said, if anyone leaves it will be the players who were left out of the Euro squad, and out of all of those ones only Avdijaj is a player we need and he has said he will play for us so we are not affected in the slightest.
As i have said previously, Rashica i know will not leave and Avdijaj has said he will play for Albania so why are you all getting stressed. We at minumum have Avdijaj, Rashica, Kaçe and Hysaj so we are secure.

The problem is Berisha, if leaves then even if we have quality players up front we are going to concede to many goals
First of all we don't know what's going to happen for sure. It still hasn't been decided whether Kosovo is even going to play in the upcoming WCQ(but it looks likely). Then we don't know the entire criteria for player eligibility.
I wouldn't put too much emphasis on Avdijaj's little internet patriotic campaign because he obviously did it to increase his chances for a spot in the Euros but he has stopped doing it for a while, especially after Kosovo's recognition. Since he'll miss the Euros I don't see why he would choose Albania over his homeland.
Rashica might actually get locked with Albania if what that UEFA official said is true. Assuming he's in the final list for Euros AND gets play time he would get locked because he had dual citizenship(Kosovar&Albanian) but chose Albania. At least I'd like to believe that had Kosovar citizenship because he grew up there. Not sure.
Etrit Berisha is another one who might fall in Rashica's category. Did he have Kosovar citizenship when he first played for Albania?? I think he did right?? If so he might get stuck with us.
If Etrit leaves then we are a bit fvcked because GK is easily the more delicate position. It all starts from there.
Berisha was born and raised in Kosova. Of course he had that passport. I don't want to keep him against his will though.
I think out of all the positions GK and CB are the two that we'll get fucked over the most if Kosovars switch. Xhaka is one of our best players, but we have some depth in midfield. For GK especially we have nothing.

Dude berisha fukin sucks. The only reason we thought he was good when he came in was cus every1 else was garbage. If berisha was good hed start over marchetti whos a ok keeper at most. Idc if he leaves he should do wat his heart tells him to do.
