With memories of the golden years (80's) of the albanian football still fresh on her mind, Albania is now attempting to recreate its strong football legacy. As young players start making their names abroad, the future is looking bright for Albanian football!

I don't think Sadiku will get any minutes at the Euro, unless Cika gets injured.
It's safe to say that Sadiku has overthrown Balaj in the pecking order for #2 striker. In the Euros he'll definitely get some play time as a substitute. Balaj is the one who will struggle with any play time.

I've seen rashica play and he hustles for every ball and today he looked like he didnt wonna be on the pitch. Don't judge on this game lets move on to the next 1 against ukraine.
So you're saying Rashica the player that needs to prove to the coach that he deserves to go to France is not motivated, cuz he was playing vs nobodies?
The whole team looked like it wasn't motivated. But yeah i didn't understand him on the field today tbh. Maybe he was told he's not in the 23 men squad and the frustration got to him. But to Prove himself? i don't think so man. He already proved himself during the season scoring 8 goals giving a few assists and has more mins then any other winger in our nt.
The very good season he's had with his club is the reason why he was included in the 27 men squad. He was given a half game by de Biasi to prove himself in which his stats were, one freekick won and a successful dribble.

Hmm I am trying to think of a scenario when GDB will sub him in. Maybe in the Romania game in the last 15 minutes.
I think Roshi is the first sub in. Depending on who's starting in the midfield, another midfielder will be second (Kace?). Sadiku doesn't bring anything honestly.
Basha played well. He holds the ball a bit too much(needs to release it quicker) but I like how he uses his body to shield the ball and he's elegant with it. Defensively not the strongest but he always helps the team to keep some possession. Always liked him.
Sadiku provides an energy sub. Alot of times GDB will bring him on late in the match for fresh legs. That's what I like about Sadiku and what makes him different than Balaj and Salihi, he works hard,
After what Gashi and Roshi did you lot are very deluded.
As Nico said he proved himself at Vitesse.
Gashi had like 2-3 scoring opportunities in the first half, any other day he'd score one of those. And Roshi looked lively in the first 20 minutes of the game where he beat his marker numerous times. All this against fresh legs opposed to Rashica and Shala that sucked more against more tired legs.

I agree that he's second in the striker pecking order now but I feel that GDB prefers to sub in wingers and midfielders and in France this will be even more pronounced. It all depends on how the games go. If we're hanging for dear life I don't think he brings Sadiku in over say a Roshi or another midfielder.
The fact that a sub in the Croatian league like Balaj is called up is a joke, but we owe him for that Portugal goal. Otherwise, he shouldn't be called up after EUROs anymore.
I've noticed a pattern with most Albanian players that as soon as they can buy a BMW with their paychecks, they don't give a shit anymore. What a shame. I can forgive some untalented players like Roshi or Balaj, but this syndrome has even affected Shaqiri and Januzaj.
Kudos to the Xhakas for being humble.
