GDB plays similar to Mourinho's style of football, he emphasizes compact defensive football over offensive football. He has been successful so far so am not gonna complain.

The only realistic goal we should have for WC qualifiers is to finish above Israel and get a draw vs. Italy.

We need the coach to:

1) Command the locker room/Motivate players

2) Brim confidence to the players

3) Have good tactics

4) Bring in good players

DB can do 1) and 4) but sucks at 2) and 3). It's up to FSHF to decide which of these is most important next season.

No he doesn't. Mourinho sets up his teams to counter properly. DB doesn't. People keep saying DB is defend + counter, but DB is defend + hope for a fluke.

DB has been "successful" because of his ability to motivate players (which is tough for international teams and why many top teams fail), not because of his tactics.

Think he did relatively well on 2 and 3 tbh. The only disappointments in this campaign were Xhaka and Lenjani tbf. Sadiku was also shit imi but he scored at least. The back four was very solid. Kukeli filled in great for Cana after his red card. Berisha was ok except for the one fuckup. Abrashi was a beast in midfield. Our offense was nonexistent but we all knew that already. Still scratching my head on Cikalleshi and his disappearance.

It's not Ganiu's fault our headless chciken upfront can't score one on one with the goalie. They created two clear chances vs. the Swiss. Yeah the counter was nonexistent vs. France but that was to be expected. In the Romania match they had several good chances on the counter. Roshi worked very well on the left side when he came on. Ganiu can only do so much.

Exactly. We are a squad build around average players. A coach can only do so much. Maybe Gani has his faults, but you see the goal we conceded and the missed opportunities, and that is all down to the players.

We have not achieved or proven anything better than what we did in this tournament. We took the opportunity to capitalise once against a Portugal which has been in shambles, drew against mighty Denmark and got handed 3 points on the platter. What, apart from these performances, made you think we would do better?

This team is starving for quality attacking players and that's not De Biasi's fault. He's actually playing to the team's strengths.

There's no excuse for De Biazi not playing attacking football. He's got the players for it, Hysaj. Mavraj. Ajeti. Djimsiti. Aliji. Xhaka. Abrashi. Kace. Memushaj. Rashica. Cekici. Avdijaj. Lenjani. Sadiku. Cikalleshi are all descent players.
