How do you know what my personal research means? I assure you i am quite educated in Islamic matters. Not an expert by any means but i am quite sure that i know a lot more about Islam than the average person. Btw, my suggestion to you was "read the quran". Doesn't sound like what a Trump supporter would say.

I can say the same things about the West and Christianity when it comes to sociopaths (Hitler & Stalin) and pedophilia (catholic priesthood), and the Old Testament is just as bad as the Koran if we were to read it literally.

Funny that you should bring up Hitler and Stalin and label them as christians. Now dont get me wrong, i dont particularly like christians either even though i think they are a lot better than muslims.

But neither Hitler or Stalin were christians. Hitler absolutely despised christianity. He thought it was a religion for the weak and not fit for Germans. On the other hand, Hitler was a big fan of Islam! He thought that if Germans were muslims they would have conquered the whole world. Stalin on the other hand was atheist, not christian.

About pedophilia, it is legal to rape a 9 year old girl in islam because the prophet did it. And let's be honest, it IS rape cause i cant envision any 9 year old girl consenting willingly and consciously. At the least, at that age she can't even possibly have the capacity to consent.

The testaments are just as bad as the quran, if not worse. But there is one difference. Christianity is NOT based on them and even if it was, they are very different than the quran in that they are not supposedly written by god himself, but with divine inspiration. Furthermore, today they are regarded just as stories and allegories and are not to be taken literally.

On the other hand, the quran is supposedly the literal word of allah which he spoke to muhammad and muhammad spoke to another dude cause he was illiterate. As such, it is meant to be taken very literally and it is exactly why muslims go berserk when their book is mistreated in any way. And, like it or not, goat fucking and animal fucking in general is legal in islam. Also legal is murdering, cheating, manipulating, hating, raping, and enslaving. These are written in the quran, the literal word of allah, and you cant criticize them.

The main problem with islam is that it is not a spiritual guide but basically it is a life manual. Most of islamic teachings are about how to live your life and not about some spiritual shit or whatevs. It tells you what to wear, how to eat, how to divide property and all this kind of stuff that they did in a 7th century desert. And they tell you that you have to do these too otherwise god will be angry!

Yeah, I understand, Plako. But I guess I'll never be able to understand it from your viewpoint as you've lived it and I can only try to imagine it. Religion really never played a role for us - being Albanian was always the focal point in my upbringing.

The only thing 'Muslim' in my upbringing was, that my parents fasted during the Ramadan, and I began fasting when I was old enough to decide for myself, but never because they said I should, they were against it when I started, but I guess seeing one parents do something will inspire you to do that same thing. Nobody prayed in my family and my father only took us to the mosque once or twice a year when bajram came as kids. We didn't even know how to pray in Arabic haha, but I guess he did that to show us what background we came from. I still maintain that one can fully be Albanian and Muslim at the same time - even practising if that's ones desire.

As for the hate of Turks, it's understandable as they - in this day and age - are the ones who are an anomaly in a Christian Europe - and distancing you from Islam seems to be a way to become successful these days. Also, we all know that they occupied us for quite some time, but it's easier to point fingers at those who seem like 'the other' than it is to point fingers at others who've been dicks towards us, as they're not seen in the same way as the Muslim or the Turk.

During my upbringing I was always told that Turks couldn't be trusted and that Turkey is a 'kurvë' who never really had our backs when we were oppressed by the Serbs, Greeks, Macedonians and malazezet after the fall of the Ottoman Empire. That we didn't have Albanian schools etc..
But the same thing was said about Europe, as they were always standing idly by as the Serbs and Yugoslavia did what they did for a century almost and were the ones who divided our lands.

As for those spewing hate towards Muslims, it doesn't really affect me anymore. I've seen and heard it all, so I usually just ignore it. Especially when it comes to those who are illiterate of their own history. They should read about Idriz Gjilani, just so their black-and-white world view might change a bit.
